Yo i dead wanna do this there's something about restoration that keeps me at ease I've been like that since I was a kid. I'm doing this see y'all in the winter.
Honestly it's not that bad of a Job. Maintenance is HEAVILY under manned all the time and they need people all the time but the job opportunity outside of the Air Force is huge. When you become a civilian you can get a job working at airports or private jet companies that will pay you really good money for your job. Aircraft Structural Maintenance (Sheet metal) is truly an art and finding people actually able to do it is hard. Sheet metal personnel are a dying breed.
Was station at Holloman from march 1974 to November 1977 as a Aircraft Structural Maintenance on F 4s We had 100 of them worked 12 hours a day.
Well I’m in school for my A&P now and I have sheet metal for my next class this semester I’m looking forward to it
There you go, breath in all that hazardous dust....
How did QA not get them for that? lol
