Exactly, I remember right before Sherlock era Taemin was on Immortal Song twice and the first time I didn't expect much because up until then, he hadn't been much of a singer (puberty and all that lol). So I was SHOCKED by how much he had improved. And my friend I both agreed his singing style sounded like a mix of Jjong and Onew.

First time hearing this song. Thank you for the English lyrics. It crushes me that he felt so alone, and in a sense he was. He was hiding his full self from the world out of fear of rejection. I think he felt the love directed his way was love for someone who didn't really exist, that it was for the false personae he wore for the sake of other people. Oh my god...it's just so heart-breaking.
How can I relate so much? I struggle with social anxiety and it always make it feel like everyone is just staring through me, judging me with their piercing gazes. I just don’t feel good enough because I’m stuck comparing myself to others. I’ve got good, very supportive friends who are helping a lot, but Jonghyun had to hide his pain and let it build up. you are not useless at all,depression is not easy,for example even if people try to help actually they can t .even if people are there for you ,eventually you get to spend time alone and toughts could be overwhelming..they are small at the beggining until they begin to repeat themselves and become a catastrophe in your head. and you start to believe they are real...sometimes or everytime is him who needed to help himself.Many times people will just come with advices ...and people suffering with depression already know all those stuff but is not easy to control this desease. because it is a continuous internal fight between living or ending..i believe he just nedeed to wait and get to know himself better and analise what he really needed or how to make life better for him with the resources he had then...maybe things he wanted the most would ve come eventually....i speak from personal experience, i am diagnosed with anxiety ,depression etc:-)you are a great fan,believe me,because you care about him!;-)
