In my opinion probably the best piece as you can land a headshot and then homing and boom. Win.
This is a pretty cool game, even if you don’t know how to play chess you can still win as long as you have good aim

this game reminds me of the chess arc in versatile mage, it's exactly the same but the attacker has an advantage, that is, that the defender deals 30% less damage, so the attacker has more chance of winning. and if the winner is hurt, they'll be hurt for the whole game until they die

As some one who's played this a bunch:
Queen is very good even with it's nerfs. That little throwing ability is an instant kill if it hits and it can fly away to heal.
Bishop is extremely good as well. It's glider grants great mobility and it's grenade does lots of damage and really good if you hit. Also the shotgun is always useful.
Pawn is actually one of the better pieces. It's rifile is good, the minion is fun and can mess people up, and the sprint gives good mobility.
Knight is arguably weaker than the pawn. It's bow is the slowest and most in unwieldy weapon (except if you get close and spam but that has it's risks and you'll still probably loose) but the tracking arrow is useful.
Rook is a toss up, if you manage to get away and hide and (can) snipe them it's incredibly good. But if you get rushed you're dead cause it is so inaccurate up close.
King is also a toss up. If you can get away from it it can't hurt you but if you let it get close you're dead.
All in all it's a great game that could use some balancing to bring the pieces up to their worth in chess.

Knight is a one shot headshot if you charge your bow and its a two shot kill with the tracking arrow if you get away from your opponent and hit one shot you just have to use the tracking arrow and its gg

Rook is the best character Its good close up and from a range I think you just dont know how to aim
Small info for you. You can climb.
Knight- Dash hurts your opponent, charged arrows are as strong as the Rook sniper shot
Bishop- Glide, not Fly. You can swoop to gain speed to get altitude
Not sure which button but most units can block shots.

In case y’all didn’t know, the game got a decent sized update and added shiny variants of pieces with different movesets and weapons. Would love to see you guys play this game again.

I have no idea how chess works, but the kill cam had me rolling
The horse isn't bad you just need to not Spam it and charge it up, and the aimbot power up only works when you charge it up, cause when you charge the bow up the arrow does more damage and it goes farther.
The horse is actually one of the better units. It's thin head makes it more difficult to land headshots, & the bow will 2 hit kill most enemies if you land a headshot. Also if a pawn makes it to the other end of the board you can trade it in for a different piece that you lost, which basically means that you can bring pieces back from the dead

When I was a kid I played an NES game called Archon. Same concept. Even if your opponent outplayed you in chess, the pieces had to fight in a little arena and each piece had different abilities.

The knight is not bad if you use its abilities and learn to headshot.
The horse isnt as bad as you think yes it isnt good with weakly drawn shots but if you fully pull back the bow and land a headshot it does immense damage it will kill everything in a maximum 2 shots as long as the bow is fully drawn before hand. It is a purley accuracy based piece
Still though that just sounds like a weaker rook can just snipe you in one shot.

I wasn't sure what to expect, but that was awesome! It's a very clever game with really cool pieces.
I think if you dash right away towards them with the horse then just spam fire it’ll be good

You can climb up the chairs and walls and such.
The horse does more damage if you charge the shot and its dash deals damage
the bishop wings are a glide not a fly you need to glide downward to get speed and his nade is strong
Queen can kill with the thrown pieces or just use them as shields
This is not meant to be a perfect description of every piece this is just my rough overview of what they do.
FPS Chess piece abilities:
Edit: All:climb, jump, passive regeneration
Pawn: gun: rifle
sprint, summon pawn
Knight: gun: bow (can be charged for extra damage)
Seeking arrow, dash
Rook: gun: sniper
Grapple, build wall
Bishop: gun: shotgun

Lol Ay yo, I caught a rodent that looks like a mole because of the claws and the short tail. Bro, I was in my room minding my own business making a uh thing to put my name on my art case and out the corner of my eye it looked like a furry brown lobster XD This sucker ran like a cheetah XD I was able to catch it with it's favorite food in a carrier my dad got me to help me help this cat in my apartment neighborhood that had gotten bit twice by a chihuahua but the attacks were separate days and I named it Molly because well I wanted to see what gender it is so I can name it properly and dude I kid you not it looked like a man with no testies yet so that's why I name it Molly until I'm able to properly see what gender it is. I think the same thing happened with this new-born bunny we had for two weeks trying to nurse her back to health after the accident and funny thing is that she acted as if she was a baby duck(bunch of baby ducks, send them to the moon. lol srry, couldn't help myself) meaning she thought my second oldest brother was her parent although I would say we were all of her parents XD I miss her, but we wouldn't have her calm around us if she wasn't and depending on how big the adult bunny the poo is pretty small but not as small as a squirrels. Also Molly bit me(OOOOW! CHARLIE BIT ME! Lmao I did not set this up I promise and I swear on my life. It just happens...)... So yeah, this was at 3 am and I did not go to sleep until 6 or 7 because I had to sweep up the sugar that fell on the ground because ants and who knows, maybe more will find there way in here because of it and I put everything back where it was because Molly was using that as cover lol. Somehow she was still invisible as if she kept going back and forth behind the uh desk- cabinet thing we have in the living room. Now all I have to do is wait till my dad picks me up so I can let her out there instead because there are more roads here than there are over there. I like animals is all and I would do anything for them that doesn't put me in jail or an asylum.
