If anyone hasn't seen one and gets a chance....find a doc about WWII or the Nazis that covers the Berlin Olympics, and shows footage. Owens embarrassed and humiliated Hitler in his own "house", and the looks on Hitler's face are absolutely priceless. 😂😂😂 Jesse Owens was a hero. 👍

.C.C. Spaulding was huge in the Black community across the country. He sponsored an event, in WWII, in Raleigh, N.C. The speaker was Adam Clayton Powell, Jr. He spoke about AA in WWII. Very powerful speech. Nice film.

Many people do not know that Jesse Owens was encouraged to boycott the 1936 Olympics due to the blatant racist policies in the U.S. Jesse seriously considered not attending since he knew there would be no personal or financial benefit to him. Contrary to popular opinion Jesse had issues with the U.S. and its racial policies instead of with Adolph Hitler, but that story has been erased from the history books. Jesse refused to ever represent the U.S. again in the Olympics despite being the world's fastest human. This was the same time of the Tuskegee Syphilis Experiment in which Black farmers were intentionally injected with syphilis to see what would happen to them. So, I guess Chesterfield cigarettes are just another of a long list of insults to American heroes who happen to be Black.
