Berserkr - Viking War Chant Music
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 21 июн 2022
- A germanic war song, partly inspired by the Northman's amazing Berserker scene. It's my take on the legendary bear-warriors from the Viking age and Koryos from Indo European history. In this one the focus lies on the primal power of the war drums and gutteral chants.

What music can you find on this channel:
⛰️Fantasy Music
Downtempo, relaxing tracks that make you get engrossed in fantasy plots, yet keep you relaxed at the same time. It's a perfect reading fantasy-friendly music genre, and awesome if you love to meditate. Like books and movies categorized under the same moniker, it sparks a sense of wonder, imagination, magic and other-worldliness.
This atmospheric music is inspired by enormous mountain vistas, starry skies, vast oceans and other grand and otherworldly places. It can calm the nerves, provide inspiration during homework studies / writing and creates a wonderful atmosphere no matter where you are.
⚔️Old Norse Music
Dark viking tracks, using old traditional instruments. Inspired by germanic culture and lore. It's a combination of ambient, ritual and folk.
The sound of the music ranges from the transcendental drones of the ancient bowed lyre Tagelharpa to the unmatched grace of the gut-stringed Lyre to the distinctive and characteristic sound of Nordic bone and overtone flutes.
You'll also find war horns, mystical chants and throat singing, thunderous mighty percussion and frame-drums ready for battle. It transports you to the dark ages, where the worlds of history and mythology overlap.
🎼Mockups
Covers of my favorite video game soundtracks, mainly of the Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, the Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and the Witcher 3: Wild Hunt soundtracks, using the software FL Studio 20 and MIDI controllers. All mockups and covers have free MIDI files available to download.

I need to hear Viking war drums, Native American war drums and Japanese war drums all at once and my life will be complete.
The Japanese didn’t even make it off their fuckin island
islander war crys and deep chanting
Add Maori chants and African tribal dances, and you'll have a World War music
This opens a genetic memory that makes you feel like you’re marching with your brothers to kill with no fear
Trust me,they felt fear, they just held it in check.
To me it does as I carry it in my blood 🔥
made myself a repeating version with out the bear part for working out
Fear is not the opposite of bravery. It’s the root of bravery.
The adrenaline rises... the chant of beserkers and their enlarged adrenal gland
Who needs shrooms when you have a big scary ass Nordic Shaman singing in proto Germanic with a mix of old norse chanting to you in with voice so deeply baritone that I almost got dragged to Hel thru my phone while my life flashed before my eyes. Hel yeah I’m replaying that one
This is a wild experience on mushrooms tho
Haha legendary comment!⚔
But norse and germanic are different tribes 😅
Berserkr, we put fear into our enemies, you are dangerous, you show no fear, it gladdens the gods, start your chant, start the dance, prepare for war.
Tonight we face a great enemy, you put the fear no one has felt before, let your chant be heard far and wild. Let the enemy shieldwall fall before you, show them how dangerous you are.
The gods are waiting for you in Valhalla, go forth and make the gods welcome you to Valhalla!
Skål brothers and sisters!
Now I can see how heavy metal came to be from this part of the world! How awesome!
What Birmingham? hahahah
@@johncooper306the English/Norse/Danish are all Germanic and share the same blood. Not sure what you're trying to say here.
@@nickhartman6372 Black Sabbath. All Brummies.
Damn, berserkers listen to some slapping beats as they slap the souls out of their enemies.
Please make more dark ones like this one, LOVE IT!
This song make me feel my german ancestors, thank you.
But vikings are not german 😅 we are nordic
@@jorgetagle3778 incorrect historical many tribes from north germany were heavy influenced by nordic culture to the point that some did sail to england as vikings. I mean the jomsvikings a famous viking mercy core was based along the north baltic coast line of poland.
@@barbarianbear7633 oh okay yeah, you would be right but normally the germanic tribes were separate from scandinavians, what is considered vikings are the nordic tribes which are the scandinavians, I thought you were saying that germanics were nordics like some people that confuse the scotish celtic tribes as being vikings as well, but yes the north germanic tribes were heavily influenced by vikings as due to proximity there was cultural exchange frequently, do yes sir you are very right
@@jorgetagle3778Scandinavians are North Germanic
the last minute is epic. TY

Eagerly waiting for this. And what a beautiful picture. Hoping for good things!!
Really tried to emulate the sounds and ways of the bear with the drums and the vocals, hope you like this one!
The song was good, thank you for making it
It's my pleasure!

I’m sold. Subbed 👍
I come from the channel and live radio Herknungr, there I listened to one of your songs, and I was impressed by the musical character that you impose on it, I was fascinated by the production of this video, the mystical spiritual cohesion between the bear, the wolf and those warriors, they reminded me to that scene of The Northman in the fire dance, I join your channel new subs ..!
The Northman was a big inspiration for this one, thank you for subscribing! Next viking piece will be about the Ulfhednar..!
Thought the same thing
So nice ⚔️🎶⚔️🎶❤️❤️❤️
Amaziiing!!
Thank you!
Now I’m not Nordic, but I feel them calling to me from Valhalla
gonna go ham in the gym to this
Here from History Dose's video on Harald Hardrada...the moment he opened the video with this I was like "I must now drop everything and find out what this music is."
Haha cool!
I listen to this while playing warzone
GYM time 🔱
"The Kings Sharp Sword lies clean and bright,
Prepared in foreign lands to fight:
Our Ravens croak to have their fill,
The Wolf howls from the distant hill"-Helmskringla
Got my ancestral genes heating up❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥💥👍🏽👍🏽💯💯💯

It’s chilling to listen to a sacred incantation that our ancestors have had as a tradition from their beginnings of just being proto Germanic and evolved to become carried on in Scandinavia, Germany, and eventually being incorporated into the unique Icelandic culture only to be used as the haunting and trippy practices of the highly superstitious Icelandic Vikings who we have to thank for preserving such ancient rituals.

Well, time to crank the thermostat in the gym to 90° and deadlift like a real man....
Very nice.
Thanks for the support Andrej!
Wonderful! Where did you source these chants from? Would love to add them into future compositions myself :)
The Woods are very well known cause it is the Teutoburger Forest not realy far from my home
❤️
Excellent work. Any particular VST packages you used for this? I'm guessing you personally recorded the vocals?
History Dose brought me here
I wonder if it is even possible for him to get his voice any lower
The wolves to the west, and the eagles to the east. We march to valhalla, taking as many souls as we can along with us 🇳🇴⚔️
Who else woke up ina new place covered in bruises and what looks like someone elses blood after hearing this?...no one?!..good..neither did I..😂
Valhalla urges intensify

All hail the all father!
Can I use this as music in a theme park I’m building in planet coaster? When it’s finished I want to make a yt video out of it, but don’t want a copyright claim of sorts.
Of course, id claims shouldn't happen with my music, if you run into any problems feel free to reach out
@@DreymaComposer Great to know! Thanks for the response!
imagine if this was real life in like a colosium
very Germanic day to post
WHO'S THE VOCALS I HEAR
Y'all gotta understand before going into battle these people were ingesting mushrooms and were first off high as fuck!! Now you have 5000 high as fuck vikings and you don't see them you just hear the drums and the war chant!! Are you kidding me!!! It's no wonder why people from this time feared these warriors because I don't think they left many survivor's after the slaughter!! Maybe some of the females were taken but they didn't have any use for the old the men and young boys were not spared because they didn't want to have to deal with them when they grew up and wanted revenge...
Any translation of what he's saying?
“Give me the leg of my enemy to eat as I drink this med so sweet”
Do you allow me to Remix it ? 😁🫶
Sure, long as you give credit
this makes me want to hunt wolfs nothing but with my hands and teeth
Listen to this while I do trash at my job at a fast food chain, gets don faster.
Fantastic 💪

"The bear attacks" (in Swedish )
@@321findus Yes!
@@321findusis the chant part just sounds or actual words? Could you tell me what it says if it is words? I greatly appreciate any translation you could provide.
@@blue_water_jimThose are just sounds and have no meaning, as far as I can tell.
