- So in this video, I finally open up and start my 3rd sketchbook!! Fun Fact: I got this sketchbook aaaallll the way back in December 2019, but was too impatient for shipping, so I got another sketchbook (the one I just finished this month!) to fill up instead! I'm actually really happy I saved it for all this time in my disorganized-about-to-topple-over-plastic drawers :DD
ALSO, I don't think I can ever properly express how blown away I am lol so I'll say it again down here: thank you all so SO MUCH for 1800 subscribers!! ง ͡ʘ ͜ʖ ͡ʘ)ง ❤❤ ಠ_ಠ ❤❤ (ŐωŐ人) ✧ ✰ ｡

I rarely draw on the first few pages of a sketchbook, too much pressure to have those pages look perfect, better even to start sometimes at the back and then work forward 😛

I love the illo sketchbooks! Watercolor doesn’t work well on it all the time due to the paper quality as the wet media is doesn’t have as much to grab on to and so can lead to more tearing of the paper and can make is look messier, acrylic paint works a little better in them as does most dry media from my experience; I’ll be interested to see how you feel about the sketchbook after spending a little more time in it!

Why did you draw with color pencil first
Emoan sands I love sketching with these erasable coloured pencils because they dissolve into the paint nicely! Graphite (if not erases properly) gives a really muddy look to the colours!
