Edit: I may be strange, but I feel like the neons you got mixxes well with back and orange traditional, because in my memory it was traditional if that makes sense. Halloween colors are black, orange, purple, and greens

Cris, I totally get it. How you hugged the witch blow mold, I do that w/ my music collection-CDs, books, magazines, box sets, figures, VHS, DVD, Blu-Ray/4K UHD media(movies, concerts, documentaries, etc.). Totally get it.
I’m an 80s kid and I want vintage Halloween too. I’ll have to check out targets. Even though I said I hate their new line. I can’t wait to see it in person I might change my mind.

Yes Cris! I love the highlighter green color too, but especially when its matched with black! The skull candy bowel I think is truly cursed because at first I didn't like it. But after 5 seconds of staring into its eyes I was hypnotized and bought it. Happy Halloween! 👻🎃🖤

I also work from home, and MANY moons ago back when it was still called the Target Dollar Spot, I bought a small glass cauldron just a tad bigger than the plastic one you picked up from Target. I use it to hold my pens and highlighters. It lives on a short bookshelf next to my desk. It's the perfect size for a pen holder. When I used to work in the office, I used it as a candy bowl.

Can't be a witch without owning a heartagram necklace pendant I have a heartagram tattoo on my underarm.
That was created by the finnish band, "HIM" with their meaning. It's nice...I have a pentagram and the triquetra tattooed on my neck along with a vine going thru-out with the celtic cross for my past and future.@asacash

I bought the blow mold witch and I love her. I love everything about her. I love that she has wolf howls as well as a cool voice. And her slime lime green color ❤❤Your video made me get her. I bought her online because my target doesn’t have Halloween out yet. I also bought the owl. I love the owl’s noise. I love hoots. ❤❤❤

You are shopping therapy for all so us. I don’t know where the stuff is going but I love it too so that all that matters . And I also don’t put my favs outside . I would’ve bought the witch blow mold if it didn’t have the audio. I’m going to be on the lookout for the neon skeleton blow mold. I love that one.
I can definitely understand not liking the pinks and other odd colors for decorations but green & purple are 100% Halloween colors so all of those look cool!

I was born in the 80's as well 1982 to be exact and I would LOVE for stores to do more vintage pieces!!! My esthetic 💯
I went trick or treating in the 80s, it was all shapes and sizes of paper cutouts with rivets so you could pose them (including full skeletons), the haunted house soundtrack. classic orange and black colors (neon didn't really hit Halloween until the 90's), strobe lights, cut-up black trash bags used as outdoor decor, real jack-o-lanterns, homemade costumes (if someone bought a costume it was typically paper or felt with a paper or cheap plastic mask, super thin plastic treat bags with hard plastic handles, the smell of Halloween makeup, bonfires, candy apples, and tons of Halloween parties. Instead of buying decor (bc there was none to buy) everyone made the coolest stuff out of food and baked goods and they would use the food as "decor". Personally, I think they try to make stuff look vintage, but very little existed back then. You might buy a themed paper plate and cup set, but that is about it. That said, I appreciate the haul and I love the ability to shop for spooky goods in 2024. I think we both enjoy items that we consider classic Halloween. The disco cowboy and return of the gnome part 3 weren't on my Bingo card. I know they gotta keep coming up with new stuff, but they had some interesting lines this year. Unfortunately, it's getting more commercialized, so there's no telling what they come up with. My wish for Halloween decor next year....Epic Universe gets all the hype and everyone jumps on the Dark Universe bandwagon. I'd love to see a bunch of classic monster decor next year.
Love the lime green skull candl bowl with the spiral eyes. He's so Beetlejuice like. I'd paint the teeth white and put it with my Beetlejuice stuff. He can be your other popcorn bowl. BTW I don't understand halloween discoball stuff either. I have seen things I like that were thar way, but Halloween stuff nope!. BTW Home depot is starting to our their stuff out. they have some great unique skeletons for 39.00.

I also agree with thinking they are going to be popular, I looked online and they are already out of stock (all of them), I didn't check in person but I wouldn't be surprised if there is none left.

Hi Cris, just wanted to let you know that there are 3 more of those giant Halloween wall décor pieces. There is a black cat with lime slime green eyes, nose, and ears. A lime slime green spider, and a hot pink and orange jack o lantern. I put a battery powered fairy light set on the underside of the green skull and it looks absolutely amazing all lit up. Ok, but get a cheap inflatable blow up seat (or 2, or 3), some black beaded curtains with neon if you can find them and some goosebumps/are you afraid of the dark art work and stick them on the walls like a 90s poster and you have a whole living room done. Bonus points for other 90s films referenced like Buffy, charmed etc. You could even do some glow in the dark popsicle skeleton DIY. I mean you can go as far as you really want to depending on the space available.

You got some fantastic things! I really do like the owl, for exactly the reason you said, that it’s just simple. It’s realistic design and simple color palette, plus it’s simple head-turning action and sounds are marvelous.
Years ago I got a sound soother that has several different sound designs, like ocean waves, rain, and one called Countryside. The sounds are very much like your owl, crickets, an owl hooting, and the soft sounds of a babbling brook.
I used to just turn it on in the evenings, placed under a window, so it was like hearing the sounds naturally coming from outside. So cool!
