For everyone who has never done boxing before if you find a heavy bag 2 things to remember always wear gloves and wrist wraps if you have the wraps, do not go all out every other day your hands will break especially if it's a new bag trust me it will happen, you will become used to it after a while just not instantly
do push ups with your fist and strengthen your wrist if you have a strong wrist your hand wont break, but ofc you have to make a strong fist and keep it tight . if theres a small gap in your fist i will surley break
Great vid Mike. It came together in a beautifully informative and intimate (like im in the gym with you) vibe. The use of the Ali clip to emphasize your point was well done too. Keep it up.
Ran 3.5 miles in my Muhammad Ali shirt today. Beat my time by twelve minutes. And today’s lesson mentions Muhammad Ali’s name. That’s dope. I’m learning one video per week. Much love. This week 5 for me!!
Keep pushing through Mike. It is crazy how when being positive, you still have so many people wishing on your downfall. But that is why only a few people can step up no matter what obstacles lay ahead.
Mike, your character is awe inspiring brother, keep flourishing and bringing up others to become a greater version of themselves. Phenomenal job Brother!!!!
GOD has truly blessed you my brother...fitness, boxing skills, articulate, business minded. Im very over weight sadly, and You truly inspire me.Ive consulted with my physician and cant wait to try your healthy one meal a day diet.
Please don't bash me, I never heard of you Mike till about a week ago and already I have more respect for you than I have for some people I been watching and following for years. Keep up the good work, we need more like you.
Love you Mike and what share of yourself and your boxing tips! I share your love of boxing and good nutrition. I am not totally vegan yet...but am moving in that direction. Thank You!
just watched the Ali Foreman fight and it was EPIC. Legit chess. All mind games. Dude thought he had him bc Ali was on ropes majority of the time. SO strategic and inspirational. Loved the ending of your video too Mike! That clip is LEGENDARY
Mohammed Ali was an inspiration to a lot of people, especially blacks and Muslims, I love the Muslim character as there have been many Muslims who died because of refusing to summit into something they don’t believe it
Nice vid. Been wanting to do boxing for cardio for a while. My dad used to box as well so it kinda took me back hearing mike talk about that. Anyway, good stuff. Keep it coming.
im thirteen and i want to be a professional boxer when im older yet i dont have the money to go to training right now so these videos helped out so much thanks
@@MikeRashidOfficial You only replyed on a girl comment because you saw she is hot. What about other people? Other fans ? I see what is wrong with this world....
I watched first 2 videos yesterday , I don´t have any equipments, gloves of the bag, But I tried In a place And I worked out really well, Burnt about 400 Kl in about 30 minutes. tryinng to do 1,2,3, shadowing , and 1,3,2, 1,1 2 e, etc, etc.. Great.
Bruce Lee (arguably one of the best martial art practitioners that ever lived) was a huge fan of boxing. He’d often study boxing films of Muhammad Ali and practice them in front of a mirror. In fact, he favored boxing over many other martial arts. He said “a boxer with 1 year of training could beat a martial artist of 20 years of experience..” I am gonna practice your tips for the cardio.
LMAO after Ali's Victory Speech!!! LMBAO!!! Ayo, Mr. Mike Rashid, BIG UP for putting this video up! ROFLMBAO! Ali was the GREATEST of all TIYEEEM!! LOLZ! As someone who does NOT train at boxing, but RESPECTS those who DO put in the LEG WORK, the ROAD work, the GYM work, the SPAR work, and COMPETE in the SWEETEST SCIENCE? I just have NUFF respect for. And this is a former SCHOOLBOY saying this, so please, to ANYONE who's ever MASTERED themselves enough to TRAIN and CONDITION themselves into becoming champions? But life's stresses & bill collectors made you maybe like maybe ONCE think that MAAYBE you should have invested all of that focus into something SCHOLASTIC so that you could have gained from establishing yourselves in a mucho money earning career? Just about the ONLY career where you would be APPLAUDED for keeping yourself in such PINNACLE condition would be a FIREMAN, but as far as the financially rewarding business world is concerned? In a PERFECT WORLD they ALL would just LOOOOOVE to be as focused and dedicated to Self preservation as you all are. So let that marinate a sec. Peace.
U do such agreat job eith these videos but i need u to go back to basics just a little bit more. What i need to know is What kind of gloves should a person wear when punching the bag? When punching the bag and making contact should the fist be a tight fist or an open fist? When wrapping the hands should the knuckles be wrApped too? I would really appreciate if u could answer these questiins becuz i am i all actuality learning how to box with your videos and i am having a ball learning. I wanna punch this bag all the time now.😄😄😄😄😄
