I think the event film is just paramount covering up the shadow spinoff. I don’t think Sonic 5 ends the franchise, I think movie 5 will be the last movie where a character is introduced and movie 6 will be broken into 2 parts and be the big grand finale of this series giving us 7 movies in total

Now making it work for a cowl is another story but it could be done. Maybe make the blue a navy blue or something not too bright.
