About the snowboarding, my first time I had an instructor who taught me the turns but I was not handling it fine.
I went there the next day and did it for 4-5 hours, I was falling(by butt was hurting af), then getting up, crying my lungs out of frustration,haha. There was this 8y old kid who was doing all these tricks and I wanted to prove myself that I can do it.
After those 4-5h, I got home..my knees, butt, palms were so bruised🥲, but in the end I made it and now I’m going every winter, enjoying the slopes, the people who are amazing +sometimes the wine. So yea..my story is not about the actual sport, it s about the journey I had with it+the experience I made during all these years. And i agree with you, those 2-3 inches matter so much, especially for the beginners.
