My granddaughter has hit us up for the tuition. She is halfway through the 12 month course maintaining a 4.0 GPA she graduates Dec 18 2020. She has applied and received scholarship for maintaining such a great GPA. She got a full ride for first degree by playing soccer at a Div one university.
my plan has been to go on a spending freeze! Spending only on what is truly needed-Replace only items that I have fully consumed and live like a student while I am doing my pre-requisites and still working my corporate job (my well paying job) BANK THAT MONEY. Come up with a budget and figure out EXACTLY what your bills are every month-Those variable bills like utilities (gas, water, electric) should only be a slight variance. Learn to wear a sweater instead of ticking up that thermostat to 75 ! I am doing my scholarship spreadsheets now!

Chantal Muna there are a lot of scholarships out there. I would honestly exhaust the search for those. I know ADN programs are less expensive so maybe looking into a payment plan with the school. Working while in school is possible and it actually makes you more effective with time management. I did way better in school when I was working lol. At the end of the day you can try to get a private loan from a credit union or bank and try to pay it off as soon as possible. Try to talk with the finance aid advisor at your school.

I know some programs have online classes and in person clinicals. My program was a hybrid.
