    With new research we find out that Utahraptor gan grow larger than 2 meters and it was bulkier than we used to think. It was also coverd in feathers and had wings for stearing that made him a lot faster. A true predator should I say.

    Well according to the Isle, it depends on whether or not the Dilo can get enough bleed damage on the Utah before it could get a hit on the Dilo.

      Some estimates in this video are wrong. Utahraptor average adults are 1.5m tall, 6.8m long. Dilophosaurus adults are 1.8m tall, 5.5m long. Utahraptor maximum is 2m tall, 7.6m long. Dilophosaurus maximum is 2.3m tall, 6.2m long. Utahraptor is shorter, longer. Dilophosaurus is taller, less longer. Utahraptor has relatively shorter snout, smaller jaws. Dilophosaurus has longer, heavier and harder snout and big jaws. Utahraptor has smaller body. But so, it is faster. Utahraptor having much longer tail, can defend itself by it's tail. Also, the sickle claw of Utahraptor can help it in many ways.

    • @manasdey4977
      @manasdey4977 3 года назад

      @Dylan Gabriel Recto Garcia Wtf btw Utahraptor maximum "not an average, but the largest" is 1.8m tall and 7.6m long. Dilophosaurus maximum is 2.2m tall and 6.3m long. Utahraptor is in fact slightly larger. Utahraptor bite force is nearly 3500 PSI while Dilophosaurus bite force is 2800 PSI. Utahraptor has a 13 inch long sickle claw, which can grip and tear anything it catches. Utahraptor is faster also, because of longer femurs and a very long tail: for balance. Utahraptor's hands are very functional and mobile, much more than dilo. So Utahraptor can also scratch on Dilophosaurus much frequently. Utahraptor is slightly shorter, and has a smaller, thinner jaws. This small height helps Utahraptor to run faster, and this thin jaws helps to get food deep. Dilophosaurus has larger, but weaker jaws. Utahraptor has a MUCH larger brain, and must be slightly clever. Win.

    Most of the fanart you were using showed dilophosaurus with small and non functional arms when that is really not true. Dilophosaurus was nearly the size of Carnotaurus, standing at 8 feet. The teeth of Dilophosaurus were also serrated and able to pierce right through bone, following with the very long ranged slashes. The creature was very durable. Dilophosaurus would mostly win unless facing an entire pack

    The Dilo looks to be partly or mostly a fish eater with that hooked snout, along with the crest that shades its eyes from overhead glare, acting like polarizing sunglasses, similar to how some water birds hunt small fish by spreading their wings to create a shady zone to make it easier to see the fish in the water.

      A real Dilo was slightly larger (or around the same size) as a grizzly bear. It could grow up to 23 ft long and weighed 880 lbs. I don't think Utah would win. It's cool and all but I doubt it would pounce on a Dilo and being smart usually goes out the window if something thinks it's fighting for it's life rather than just hunting. Most of Dilophosaurus teeth had serrations at their front and back edges, the thigh bone was massive, the feet were stout (Of heavy built), the toes bore large claws, the arms were powerful, and evidence suggest it also hunted large prey. Knowing that Dilophosarus hunted large prey (Alone) I'm pretty sure that it can handle a Utah one on one. The only weapons Utah has is It's teeth and the two hook claws

      MD Diablos Dilophosaurus was insanely lightly built and poorly designed for battle (making most Spinosaurids look like bodybuilders in comparison). Utahraptor was far more stout and more robust, it was larger too (1,100 lbs while Dilophosaurus was 800 to 900 lbs).

      @@xxjoebamaxx7782 you've partially gone mad👎👎👎 Utahraptor is 1.8m tall, 7m long. Dilophosaurus is 2m tall, but 5.5m long. Utahraptor is overall larger. Utahraptor has a tinier body but has much longer tail. Utahraptor has much longer arms and claws, though having a shorter snout and smaller jaw. Utahraptor has slightly stronger bite, but in fact Dilophosaurus' jaws are stronger and will give a big bloody damage on Utahraptor if it bit. But, Utahraptor has another weapon: you may not be able to guess it: It's tail!!! For Utahraptor has much longer tail, it can sometimes hit it's tail on Dilophosaurus. Though it's a bad weapon, it's good for defending. Also, Utahraptor has sickle claw, which would take grip on anything it catches. Utahraptor also is much faster. If Dilophosaurus bit any part of Utahraptor, Utahraptor can escape by putting grip on anything by it's sickle claw and pull itself away from the Dilophosaurus. Utahraptor too has thick spines, and a lot of blood vessels so that it has higher stamina and can fight for longer periods. I say Utahraptor is winner. Even in Dilophosaurus seriously wounded Utahraptor enough to kill, Utahraptor would run away instead of fighting, with some help of it's sickle claw.

You compare a fight between a croc and a lion. On land t-rex has the upper hand, but if we talk about a lake, or near water, battle then thats another story. Stop with this Spino vs Trex debate, there's no login on it.

      @dzks Actually, there was.
      Kiryu The Dragon Warrior's comment.
      And _Spinosaurus_ was built more for land than a modern crocodile was. It could stand bipedally.

      How? Dilophosaurus was actually smaller than Utahraptor (350kg for Dilo and 500kg for Utahraptor). Dilophosaurus has basically no advantage whatsoever. It was smaller, more primitive, had a weak bite force, and was slower and less agile than Utahraptor. Not to mention that Utahraptor traveled in packs. This fight is like Baryonyx vs T. rex.

      Actually I do have evidence the dilo is quite a bit bigger and could crush the utahraptor easily also the utahraptor was a pack hunter and wasnt used to hunting solo there evidence :)

    More like, “Dilophosaurus VS. Very inaccurate jurrasic park velociraptor!” Yep. At this point everyone can see the utahraptor is basically identical to the raptors in JW.
