Sometimes lyrics ‘get in the way’…priceless lesson! Because songs can be just about shouting for joy.
Thank God they left “Ba-de-ya” in that song! It’s the signature! RIP Allee and Maurice …love you both
😄 When the song first came out, my guess was that they were saying "Party On." 😄
Such an awesome lil documentary! I was curious and glad I found this. She's such a funny and fantastic lady!!
R.I.P. Allee Willis
I LOVE this story, had never heard it before... and have always loved the song.
I didn't know how this great song of lyrics were born until now! Thank you Upload! RIP! From Tokyo.
Rest In Peace Dear One. 😢❤
Great song. Thank you and RIP.
Songwriter Alle Willis, RIP, was someone you'd never guess was the writer of this song. At the time of this interview, she looked like the Maxine character on Hallmark cards. 😄
Amazing
'Ba-de-ya'.....and all these years i thought they were singing 'by the hour' ...
I always heard “on and on….”
Shame you showed the wrong album cover. Should have been Vol 1 and you showed Vol 2.
