You have also a MK2 Focus ST? Nice choice. Ordered the same lamps as well, because I like the optics of the rear lights with the LED Blades but wanted the fast reaction time of the LED's. Also they are brighter, which is for a brake light always a good thing. Nice straight to the action video.
🤝 Thank you, yes, I still own this ST, and it completely suits me in all its qualities (especially the sound and the performance of the 5-cylinder heart). By the way, the lamps still work great and have proven themselves from the best side: bright, do not burn out and do not lose saturation over time and perfectly complement the LED side lights of the factory-made taillights)
@@snow_leopard_s Awesome to hear :D Like it. Did you encounter problems with your ST the time you driven it? Yeah I think the bulbs are a great choice in terms of safety and reliability, as well I quite like the LED side lights, they are unique and I don't see them very often on the Focus MK2 at all. The Mk2 FL ST is a pretty rare sight sadly. I considered the LED bulbs, but the lamps arent quite allowed here, sadly. And the Phillips ones really add to the safety of the vehicle.
@@jensharbers6702 Well, there were definitely no serious breakdowns, but, like any complex mechanism, the car requires care and maintenance. Volvo managed to make a very reliable engine, it is necessary to monitor the quality of the crankcase ventilation system, the variable valve timing system, and the rear suspension of the Focus Control Blade, being a multi-link suspension, also requires periodic intervention. But there is a big plus in all this: Volvo and Ford have a huge number of interchangeable parts and a huge number of cars were produced, so I never had problems with spare parts. I even saw projects when the Focus ST was made all-wheel drive due to the presence of such a version in the Volvo C30/S40.
@@snow_leopard_s Nice to hear :) Of course, it needs maintenance. :D The Engines are good and I only suffer now a malfunctioning blow off valve, which I need to replace. Bushings and subframes are in my focus already in polyurethane bushings. But the control arms and stuff might be refreshed as well as the subframes themselfs. Then have fun driving the ST, because that's what im having too. Very enjoyable car :)
I can’t vouch for the current quality of Philips, but the two sets of lamps presented in the video are still installed and have been successfully functioning for, it turns out, 7 years.
подскажите, а для светодиодов в поворотник - обязательно пришлось ставить обманку что в комплекте? или без нее диоды нормально работают? просто не понятно куда ее запихивать, если речь о задних фарах фокуса рестайл...

Nice video thanks...very helpful
А в стоп сигнал без обманок поставил? Ошибку не пишет? У меня фокус 3 нужна обманка или нет?
These high beam lights last a lot less time than the usual ones, is that true?

Спасибо за наглядное сравнение !
Обманка к ним нужна, или она встроена в них ?
Модули сопротивления есть в комплекте только с лампами указателей поворота.
СНежный БАРС спасибо !
is it only my eyes seeing that the left side lights up first
It does, because LED react instantly, incandescent filaments have to heat before they produce light.
No significant increase.
