Congress MP Dr. Angomcha Bimol Akoijam stated that ITLF has accepted the Congress manifesto, which calls for an agreement satisfactory to all communities in the state. However, he noted that the BJP has consistently misinterpreted the phrase "a political and administrative settlement that will be satisfactory to all the people of the state" as meaning "separate administration." He emphasized that BJP leaders in Delhi will be ashamed of their state unit's actions.

The indigenous Meiteis and other communities of Manipur want the opposition Meitei MP Dr. Bimol Akoijam to raise their firm stand of protecting the integrity of Manipur as the main issue in the Lok Sabha .
Blaming only the govt. is spoiling the image of the Meiteis who wholeheartedly wants to save the integrity of Manipur protecting the indigenous Meities,Nagas, Kukis, etc. excluding the illegal immigrant Kukis and others coming to Manipur after 1951.

Core issue of Manipur is 1. To protect the integrity of Manipur. 2. To protect the indigenous Meitei, Nagas, Kukis, meitei pangals etc but not those illegal immigrant Kukis and other communities who are coming to Manipur after 1951. 3. Bring normalcy in Manipur with immediate action with justice by the Government of India and Manipur Govt.
Save Manipur, Save indigenous Meitei and other communities except those illegal immigrants who are coming to Manipur after 1951. We want justice. Meiteis and Manipur Govt. never discriminate the other communities of Manipur except trying to save the indigenous Meitei and all other communities.

Core issue is. Why does the law prevent Meiteis from buying land and settling in the 90% of Manipur where as everyone can buy and settle in the valley? Why does the law prevent Meiteis to stand as a candidate during election in the Hills but anyone can stand as a candidate from the valley? With the artificial exclusion of Meiteis from the Hills of Manipur by the British and now continued by Delhi have resulted in lawlessness in the hills of Manipur and illegal immigration having a free hand. There is evidence that Assam Rifles have taken sides with the Kuki militants and is protecting the Kuki militants in this conflict against the Meiteis and the Nagas of Manipur.
Hill and Valley is an artificial divide with an aim to weaken the Meiteis influence, Churchandpur is a valley, Kankokpi is a valley, Khoupum is a valley. All the rivers run in a valley. Hill do not exist without the valleys and valleys do not exist without the hills. This divide and exclusion of Meiteis if it remains in place will continue to fuel conflicts in the future. Someday maybe the future generation will be wise enough to share and compete as equals on merit and live in a free world. Freebies, quotas and reservation will destroy India pitting one community against the another.

The demand of Kukis is separate administration or union territory whereas the demand of the Meiteis is to protect the integrity of Manipur protecting the indigenous Meitei and other communities.
Congress party will bring political and administrative settlement that will be satisfactory to all the people of the state .

The Congress party , as the oldest political party governing India since independence , is well aware of the situation in Manipur before its merger with the Indian Union in 1949.
Congress party should not politicized public issue of Manipur ,related with the sentiment of the Meiteis who wish to protect the integrity of Manipur state having a small area of 22327 km², demanding to Indian government to allow the indigenous Meiteis, Kukis, Nagas, Meiteis pangals, etc to coexist in a normal peaceful life. The demand of the Meiteis is to implement NRC and to indentify the illegal immigrant Kukis and others coming to Manipur after 1951.
But the kukis' demand is not to implement NRC and not to identify Kuki immigrants and again demanding a union territory or separate administration. Kukis' demand is not to construct border fencing of 398 km at Manipur - Myanmar border. The other demands of Kukis can be seen as submitted by the Kukis.
The main demands for the Meiteis are only to protect the integrity of Manipur state protecting the indigenous Meitei, Nagas, Kukis, Meitei pangals etc who have been coexisting since many years but not those illegal immigrant Kukis and others coming to Manipur state after 1951. The other demands of the Meiteis may be discussed with the record of the memorandum submitted by different groups of Meiteis to the Congress Leaders.
Without proper diagnosis a Doctor cannot do anything to cure the disease of a patient.
Manipur violence situation is in serious condition which requires sincere serious treatment with proper diagnosis by the Government of India, Central opposition Leaders, realated stakeholders and the Government of Manipur.
Please put your valuable mind to bring peace in Manipur but not to go only for the political gain of Congress party.
Only then there will be a way to bring normalcy in Manipur by the Government of India and the Government of Manipur with the cooperation of Central leaders, other opposition leaders, related stakeholders and related people.
