I can't believe the Olympus mju II zoom sold for 5 times as much as the Canon EOS 3000N! I have been promised another gift camera later in the month when a family member returns from Latvia - can't wait! Cheers!
Great video. Chinon got a bad name in the UK as Dixon's were the sole selling agent, as far as I know, and therefore they were considered a cheap brand. They are very well made Japanese cameras and lenses.
Thanks Andrew. This camera pleases most of the senses: I looks good, sounds good and also feels good in the hands. My first Chinon product was a 35mm lens in M42 I used on my Zenit EM in the 70s. The results I got with it were very good. I am expecting a long and rewarding relationship with this camera.
That's a great gift. It sounds like it's quite well specced for the time it was released. The photos looked sharp enough.
