Hi Sven and Paula. I love watching your videos. My questions are that in this discussion there was no mention of eggs as being good or bad pre a game or for recovery. I know that protein was talked about a lot. But as someone who is allergic to nuts I tend to eat eggs prior to a match, but I don’t eat anything else with them. I’m now wondering whether I should. To my next point. Here in Mojácar, Spain I play with a lot of people aged 50 to 80 years old. It is like watching a war film as we hobble onto the court, strapped up in various ways. Myself over 100 kgs, so actually trying to play Padel as a way of improving fitness and losing weight. So perhaps some advice for this age demographic and people that do not have the wonderful levels of fitness that you guys have would be something you could consider. Many thanks and keep up the fantastic work. Mike
Good tips, thanks! What do you think about drinking caffeine say 30-60mins before a match? I have tried it a couple of times and felt focused on the court, also won all of my matches so far. But could it be bad?
I'm an old fashioned tennis/padel player. I use to eat bananas in the matches or trainings. In fact, my racquet is always sticky because of the yellow fruit (brown at this moment) I forgot in the back-pack at my last training. Ha, ha, ha!!! Vamooos!!!
Great video! But magnesium actually have never been proven to help with cramps, a padelpro here in Sweden who is also a doctor has looked into to studys conducted since he suffered a bit from it when playing tennis.
