Was it actually impossible for Germany to win WW2 or was Hitler just incompetent? Like if he had just held the line against the Communists in non Russian soil and just bombed the absolute shit out of the entire British isles he wouldn't even have to ight America right? France was already in his pocket and Italy was still on his side at that point.
I think it's possible for Germany to defeat the Soviet Union, but "winning the war?" Nah. More likely there would be a cold war between the Axis powers and the remaining allies.
I'm not surprised Hitler had a concept of "Noble Savages" since he read western novels written by Karl May that depicted Native Americans in a positive light when he was a kid.
Modern "punk rock" is oddly safe and politically correct. It's not "punk" or "rebellious" at all. They picked a side and they stick to it for the most part like a bunch of conformists.
literally right when he was talking about how Hitler would have tried to kill all the Slavic people the video stopped, and I got an ad for "why I should date young Slavic women"
World War II was so crazy it's almost hard to believe it actually even happened like really the whole story of old war almost seems like a really crazy Fairy Tail
The trojan war was so long ago that it is passed down as a legend, maybe in the future this wars will do to. You can already see after 75 years that the lines between the good guys and the bad guys had blurred and will blur even more as all the veterans will die of old age, but mostly because the US has lost it's title of Paragon of Democracy. The next 20 years will be a very interesting period to live in.
that applies to all of history. One of the most defining battles in British history (which would lead to them conquering all of India) was the battle of plassey. They were outnumbered 1000 to 1, and won because of a smart commander and a mangrove
Really? We're still living in a geopolitical paradigm which was largely shaped by the Cold War and Second World War. With a coalition of liberal democracies on one side and (former) communist countries as their adversaries. We're not talking about the War of the Roses here.
One small problem. All borders and scenarios around Finland were off. Finns fought alongside germany in barbarossa and we stopped voluntarily our attack on lake onega. With german succes, finns would take all karelia up the white sea and maybe kola peninsula, if germany wouldn't take it.
michael wier You are actually wrong. Even since we got out independence we wanted to have the whole of east karelia, so we occupied it during continuation war.
@Metsarebuff 22 That's not true. He was a member of The National Progressive Party, and friend of K.J Ståhlberg, who was kidnapped by the fascists. On the other hand, in this scenario one might think that Ryti would be the most qualified man to lead these areas, but Estonia and Ingria would certainly have been taken over by the Germans.
@Metsarebuff 22 Considering that Finland would be under the German influence, they would let Finland keep eastern Karelia. The same would probably happen in Hungary, Italy etc.
This has been the most realistic "what if WWII" Timeline I've seen so far, you've talked about gains from spoils of war, the effects on both the USSR and the US, and how the US would act with Germany since the Dutchland isn't the Union and had compatible qualities. How British would fare in a post world war landscape, and how it would lose some and gain some. It's sad to hear how Original France would fade into obscurity while the Jews would face total eradication. The most unique thing is how the descendents would inevitably change the ideologies of Germany from a obsessive one into a somewhat progressive one where they have a softer leniency towards their serfs unlike their forbearers who wanted nothing but subjugation and eradication. Good work 👍
There is no mention of how the Germans deported Jews to Palestine. Eichman as even honored by the Jews for providing funds to Jewish industries in Palestine. The British opposed the Jewish immigrations, and even sunk a couple of German ships carrying migrants before WW2.
There's no mention of how the US lend lease policy might change nor how Roosevelt was seeking any way to get involved in the European Theatre. I have to believe that if Hitler didn't declare war on the US days after Pearl Harbor then Roosevelt would've set up a false flag. I'm not a conspiracy theorist. I do know that Roosevelt was bending any rule he could to get the US more involved in the European War. I've just discovered this youtuber and I hope this is the last video of his I watch. He seems to ignore certain things at his will (mentioning Nuclear Weapons used by the US, Germany, and the USSR then dropping it?!) because it becomes too hard. I"m not saying I could do better but I am not putting out multiple videos myself
@@jmw1500When someone doesn’t understand something they claim it’s the jews, so pathetic. Progressivism actually just comes with wealth and comfort on a large scale, as is seen in every nation upon approaching high income.
Or Brirain accepts Hitlers 1940 peace offer and allows germany to focus on USSR alone. But Churchill must not be prime minister in order for this to work
@Metsarebuff 22 British didn't really care about Poland, they were just looking for a reason to go to war with Germany, there was no way to stop them because top officials wanted another war.
He invaded Parthia and Annexes Mesopotamia. The Romans don’t have the logistics to conquer more. He might set out client states and Caesar would be very old. His health would have started to fail. He would groom Octavian into his heir and the empire might develop over time peacefully into a centralized empire. Of course Antony might stir up trouble and Augustus would probably assassinate Caesarian just to be sure. He might use Caesarion as propaganda in the Senate as a foreign king looking to carve Rome into his own kingdom and subject it to its “could Nilotic rites” (from HBO show Rome). Augustus would beat him with his badass buddy Agrippa and annex Egypt. If a Trajan comes along in the future he might invade Persia and take more land, or take all of Germany. Germanicus was very close zero doing so.
Justin Pachi Caesarion would probably be used to justify Rome’s legitimacy over Egypt, but I agree, Ceasarion would be a huge threat to Octavian’s legitimacy, and Caesarion would be no joke due to being raised by two of the smartest leaders in history. On the other hand Rome had very little interest in conquering Germany, as it had no recourses that would benefit them. If Rome were to conquer Germany, it would be very underdeveloped and unguarded, more so the Britannia, and would be subjected to raids from Slavic and Scandinavian groups or guerrilla warfare by native Germans. Persia would also be very hard to control, due to its mountainous terrain and the fact that Persians already had a deep history and culture.
I think ironically the republic might survive. Caesar was ambitious and would probably rule until death as dictator but remember in Rome a dictator was expected to relinquish power back to the senate. I don't think he'd groom an heir, at least not one to rule as dictator/emperor. He would implement massive changes to curb the power of the oligarchs making the senate more plebian in nature. But not entirely so, he did believe that they deserved to be helped but that the distinguished should still be in charge, so while I don't see a monarchy arising there would be authoritarianism. Ultimately this would be good for the health of the republic which was corrupt as hell by the end. As for conquests, if any, he'd take Mesopotamia from Parthia to avenge his colleague Crassus. Knowing his boundless opportunism he would probably set up some client states too in the Caucasus and maybe Arabia while in the region. Small bits of Germany may be taken, especially if a disaster like the one under Augustus happened and he felt his and the honor of Rome itself was diminished. After him Persia beckons as the final frontier of Rome, well Rome proper anyway colonial ambitions may arise in time. all of Arabia would probably be taken in time and from there Rome would slowly expand in all directions at a leisurely pace while its core lands are safe.
Probably Dacia would have been invaded much earlier, since Caesar had plans to conquer it (king Burebista of the dacians supported Pompeii in the Roman civil war, and thus Ceasar wanted to give them a lesson).
Hitler’s plan was never to beat Great Britain, he only wanted them to surrender, so he could focus his power on the Soviet Union. The only reason who couldn’t was because Great Britain refused to surrender, was being supplied by the United States, which means either scenario, Germany vs the U.S. would most likely be a thing, unless the United States stayed out completely and elected certain political figures that were Nazi sympathizers. Two, Great Britain had total control over the English Channel and this would mean that an invasion of Great Britain by the Germans would be practically Impossible because not only did Great Britain have the best navy in the area, but the German navy was most definitely not up to par.
@@Bigguy5154 I wonder why bankers and media spend so much time and resources making sure everybody is misinformed on WW2 and Fascism, upon inspecting fascist literature for myself it appears to be nothing like the media or academia says. @@deriznohappehquite maybe the did. I was always taught that the Britains had the best, but either way, I don’t believe it would make a difference considering Hitler hated the Italians too and thought of himself and the Aryans as superior. The Italians and Mussolini new this and despised him for it. They may have been temporary Allies, but I don’t think the Italian Navy would have moved to the English Channels under Hitler’s orders, simply because they didn’t like him.
@Metsarebuff 22 No, just around 1.7 million deaths in the Gulag, some 390,000 deaths during kulak forced resettlement and up to 400,000 deaths of persons deported to Forced settlements - with a total of about 3.3 million officially recorded victims. The deaths of at least 5.5 to 6.5 million persons in the famine of 1932-33.
The winner's write history. The Allies knew of the genocide the Soviets had commited at the time but they didn't give a damn, their focus was to end Nazi Germany but then the cold war happened and I don't think talking shit about Stalin would have been good.
As an offensive, I find this bass player Not really, in any reasonable world, when all of britains continental allies surrendered and the population wanted peace, there should have been a peace. Literally the only reason britain did not make peace with Germany was #1 becouse Churchhill hid all the german peace offers from basically everyone in the UK #2 Churchhill was personally invested and was not acting reasonably at that moment. Britain had no capabilities to actually win the war at that point, their main goal of defending Poland had failed long ago and their main continental european ally (france) had just been crushed. If churchill is slightly reasonable or if anyone else gets elected Britain makes peace with Germany, which means no lend-lease etc to the USSR and the entire wehrmacht focuses on the USSR = the soviet economy collapses during 1941 (which it narrowly avoided due to western aid)
3:32 Wait, is this true? Are there any credible sources that say this? During all my WW2 research I've *ALWAYS* heard that the German's needed to take the Caucasus oil from the Soviets because they didn't have enough oil to field massive amounts of motorized infantry and they would need it to field more aircraft and tanks on the eastern front. Still, I wouldn't call this bad stragery on Hitler's part, if he could still at least cut the Soviet's off of their oil he would still benefit.
Yes, and cutting the Red Army off from their main fuel supply would have been a lot easier than trying to capture the oil fields intact (the Red Army would have sabotaged them if they had to retreat).
No, it is not. "Synthetic oil" covered only 50% of army needs, army itself was consuming half of all oil in occupied Europe. Make the math. Already by december of 1941 (one year before Stalingrad), Opel had to stop its production of "blitz" army trucks as it didnt have enough fas to even test fuel pumps. Author is wrong on this topic and severely underestimates HOW MUCH fossil fuels matter in military-industrial complex.
@@prashantaryan3477 The Germans sent their army into the region earlier than planned because the Red Army was disorganized and unprepared at the time, and didn't want to give them room to regroup (they were expecting a push towards Moscow, so the southern front was underdefended). It was either methodically advance and let the Soviets regroup and possibly reinforce the lines, or push the pedal to the metal and push them as far as they could. They chose the latter since they realized they needed a decisive victory- every year the war dragged on the Soviet's industrial capacity would outpace the Germans and they could afford to send more and more equipment and men to the front lines. The Germans knew a war of attrition was suicide and that's why they constantly hoped for a quick death blow like in the Ardennes. Unfortunately for them, it never came.
"Russian move their capital to Kazan": in fact the actual contingency plan was to move the capital to the city of Kuybyshev (cooy-bee-shef), currently named Samara. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stalin%27s_bunker
@Jotaro97 Historical studies usually refer to settlements by their names at the time of the events described, trying to avoid discussion of which name is "correct". E.g. "Kaliningrad was the capital of East Prussia" and "Koenigsberg is the westernmost large city of the Russian Federation" would be equally bad descriptions :)

There’s -an interesting one, I can’t remember if it’s MonsieurZ or AltHistoryHub, where fascist Europe has a revival of the Protestant Wars, with the Catholics on one side and the Nordic and Slavic nations on the other. When you have Spain, Italy, and France on one side, you’re pretty much SOL. The entire War of Spanish Succession was about preventing an alliance like this to exist in the first place.
The explanation was rather over complicated, it would have been a lot faster if you just said the clear and obvious fact that the Germans could have easily won if the used 40 width tank divisions instead of the 20 widths they were using.
Or go all in on researching synthetic oil, submarines, CAS, and naval bombers in the 30s and then wait til 1941 unleash them on the Allies - Stalin will always go for Poland with historical AI in 1940.
The only reason Vietnam went communist in our timeline was to ally itself with the USSR and PRC in their fight for independence. With the former crippled and the latter not existing, there's no reason why Vietnam would be communist. If anything they would turn to the nazis for support.
The Japanese would have conquered most of Asia so the Vietnamese would be to busy fighting or joining the Japanese to be worrying about communism or Nazi's.
@@benelmen6051 The communist threat in Indochina actually predated the Japanese takeover. Too many people refuse to recognize that the Viet Quoc fought for independence from France when Ho Chi Minh was still in the French Communist Party, and that the Viet Minh waged war against them before Tokyo took control.
It’s because our presidents changed and the people in the nation didn’t want war. Once the troops pulled out, 2 years later the opposition won and communism took over.
@@ilikepiedontu True, but the consequences of giving up turned out to be more severe that we imagined. America was right about Vietnam all along, even if the communist takeover didn't go according to the Domino Theory.
The MAIN and MOST IMPORTANT reason why Vietnam turned to the USSR was because the USA basically SOLD OUT the Vietnamese. Instead of sticking to it's own ideals, the US Government choose to forget what it is supposed to stand for and go for the short-term solution. And the Vietminh, which had been a ally of the US during WW2 and it's fight against the Japanese was sold out by the US. After WW2 France simply wanted Vietnam back as their colony and the US, wanting France as an ally in Europe, started helping the French, even supplying transport ships for French troops to get to 'French Indo-China'. So, the VietMin, which really wanted national independence, started a war against the French occupiers with help from China the USSR whereas France was supported by the USA. The French were defeated and left as soon as they understood they could not win. This, of course, was just after the Korean War stalemate which had the US solidly locked into the Cold War and saw no other option than support their puppet 'democratíc' South Vietnamese ally. With led to the long protracted war which the US government insiders new they could not win and but still, persisted in far longer than they should have.
Well technically the germans urged the Japanese to attack the soviets Witch resulted in the Japanese having flashbacks of various japanese defeats And the second time to attack america
I can honestly say that I am proud the allies won on the atlantic front against the Axis powers... the sad fact of the matter is they only won because of Germany's mistakes. Germany's failures actually began 1 year prior to the battle of Normandy. The failure was initiated through lack of quality management and foresight by the German Field Marshals. In regards to the Atlantic coast of Europe. Had the management been better, Adolf's Field Marshals would've been sufficiently prepared for a Coastal invasion regardless of it being at Normandy or elsewhere. I learned this while studying the Book of Five Rings by Miyamoto Musashi during my studies of World War 2 history. Allies strength lies in certain things that needed to be countered and they weren't because of Field Marshal lack of planning and resource management. They ALSO got the help of Japan TOO LATE. That is a pacific issue that also contributed to the problem. All of these mistakes made by Germany are what contributed to creating hope for you and I, the Allies. It's extremely humbling to think we only won because of an enemy's blatantly obvious and pathetic mistakes... I'm glad we won... it's just... not as pride instilling knowing exactly WHY we won. That's all.

About the Jews in this Scenario , I think the "Madagaskar-Plan " = shipping all Jew to French-Madagaskar-Colonie could also be possible, without the Naval Threat of GB and USA.
Except they couldn't because they were at war, by the time Germany would have won the war, the ifnal solution was already in effect, so why bother digging up their old madagaskar plan when they had already constructed the camps?
Why do people act like madagascar had no native population? I doubt they'd be ok with jews being forced onto them also Madagascar was a french only and as history showed germany got its ass kicked trying to go near it.
@@armzngunz Because they intended the camps to be manufactoring plants? Because the deal that was struck (The Haavara Agreement) had the Jews keeping their possessions and wealth at the cost of working in the camps until the end of the war, when they would they would get a ship to Madagascar.

How would millions of jews survive in a hostile jungle?
I disagree about one thing. I think this would speed up American civil rights. During our timeline’s Cold War the USA did everything it could culturally to appose the soviets. In the alternate timeline it seems that racism would generally be seen as the “enemy”s thing and less people would be outwardly racist but the racists would be emboldened by the nazis.
10:33 "the Russians would not stand to have genocidal maniacs in control of much of their homeland" Should be a correction there. The Russians would not stand to have foreign* genocidal maniacs, local ones are fine (cough) Stalin (cough) Also, love how you pronounced "Archangel" as Arch-Angle lol

Yes but would Britain take the rest of America or just Sweden and the Dutch, and if they did took it, would The United States still exist or be as powerful?
Thinks Aryan "Nazis" couldn't make allies because of racism. They had allies, non-Aryan allies, you acknowledged they had allies, and thought others may flip to their side. Get your thinking straight!
The Germans only allied non-aryans like the Japanese, because they had the same enemies. They didn't realy cooperate or anything, and it's unlikly that they would have had much allies like America had during the Cold War.
Remember, it's not all fun and games, Without the Jews there no Jesus and no Moses since they were both Jewish, meaning Islam would be nothing like in our own timeline, also, remember, what the jews are doing now is child's play to what the Germans would do to them in this timeline
The US had the bomb first because of multiple captured Nazi scientists. If Britain was out and the US and Germany didn't go to war against each other, those same scientists would have given Germany nukes first.
Germany likely would as well. The US created that program via a spy network into Germany. The real reality is this, Germany would have had the bomb years before anyone else in this scenario. They planned to target large population centers to bring a country to surrender on Nazi terms (sound familiar).
"The Nazis were just so evil" or maybe history is just written by the winners and if the Nazis won, we would have been saying "the allies were just so evil", because after all, America, Britain and USSR did many terrible things, but it's okay when they do it because they won

US contribution to the Battle of the Atlantic was minimal until 1944, it was the Canadian navy's expansion, the Royal Navy's effectiveness and operational developments like enigma, long range air cover and OR won the u boat war in 1943. However without the US an invasion of occupied Europe would be impossible.
Wouldn't have been impossible the European theater just would have taken longer. Not saying that we didn't need them though, since they helped a great deal at Omaha and boxing in the Nazis by going through Italy and of course Japan. Britain was essential because without a free Britain we would have a very hard time trying to touch down in France. Canada was essential to the Battle of Britain, the liberation of the Low Countries, and helping the US transport supplies to the British. The Free French, The Polish, the Czechoslovakians, and the Norwegians etc each received training in Britain by British and American forces and assisted both in frontline combat and assisted in gathering intelligence from inside Fortress Europe (examples are Witold Pilecki, and Max Manus and others). The Danish even under occupation helped to smuggle most of their Jewish population into neutral territories like Sweden saving 7,220 lives. Soviet Russia had managed to bulldoze their way through Eastern Europe at the expense of over half its army and were the first to penetrate Germany itself and before that even struck fear into the Nazis at the fail of their Blitzkrieg. Point is, every one of the Allied Nations had a part to play and it wouldn't be fair to narrow it down to a single winner among them.
@Whatifalthist One of the major reasons why the Americans couldn't completely win Vietnam was because of Chinese and Russian support. With that taken out of the picture, the US could easily invade North Vietnam without having to worry about China or the Soviets starting WW3. nbot to mention the Chinese would probably help the Americans win the war invading from the North.
Great scenario though I’m a little doubtful about Britain being starved out. Britain’s lifeblood was the sea and the German navy was extremely pitiful. Oh, except for the Bismarck but that was sunk just before the invasion of Russia. Hitler’s best chance at dominating Europe would likely require a ceasefire with the UK, seeing as how Churchill was so adamant about not surrendering.
They'd have had firewood... then what? Moscow would be a loss, but Stalin already had plans for that case. He wouldn't surrender just because he lost a major city, and while Moscow held some logistic value, it wasn't crucial to the war effort. Both Hitler and Stalin seemed to have understood that it wasn't Moscow that mattered, but Stalingrad, which was the key to the strategic resources.
He sounds way to cocky and you get the feeling and by reading facts. He is not knowing what he he is talking about. He just played a lot of HOI4 and suddenly he is an expert.
Everything in this video is wrong. From your faulty understanding of National Socialism, "racism", the Soviet Union, WW2, the U.S. and Asia, to the scenario itself, you are dead wrong about everything in this video. Please, find a historical source that isn't American propaganda, and then you’ll have potential as an alternate historian.
@Zeke Bean Okay, I’ll bite. Here’s my scenario: Direct funding by Germany leads the National Socialist Movement of Chile to amass greater resources. That is to say, weapons and more propaganda. This propaganda helps them spread their message across Chile, attracting many more followers to their cause. Thus, the 1938 chilean coup attempt ( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seguro_Obrero_massacre#Coup ) happens much earlier, in 1935. It’s works out wonderfully. Seeing the success of the coup, the Nazi high command decide to fund more such projects around South America. In our timeline, Hitler amassed great popularity with the Germans in Paraguay. In this timeline, both his popularity and weapons from the German high command lead a National Socialist Party of Paraguay to successfully coup the government in 1936. This process repeats itself in the following years, with the United States attempting to safeguard their influence by intervening in Peru on Christmas Eve, 1936. With the Great Depression alive and well, and with little popularity amongst both the soldiers and generals, this would fail miserably. The intervention would be seen as an imperialist action by most of Central and South America. Previously, there had been some uncertainty amongst the Central and South Americans on Germany. Some saw them as liberators that fought back against capitalism and corrupt statism, while others saw them as merely making a power play. However, after the intervention, the former view would become the general consensus. By the start of the war, Chile, Paraguay, Peru and Argentina are all ruled by Fascist or National Socialist governments. A South American council exists amongst the states, with it’s main goal being to ensure economic cooperation, as well as to diplomatically solve border conflicts. The other South American states are all aligned with the U.S. The only exception to this being Brazil. After the soldiers of the American-backed general Mascarenhas clashed with the paramilitary soldiers of Plínio Salgado, nearly bringing the country into civil war, the Brazilian public turned against both the United States and Germany. The Brazilian monarchy was brought back, with the Emperor ( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prince_Pedro_Henrique_of_Orléans-Braganza ), holding strong sympathies for the United Kingdom. When the war begins, the German-aligned South American states cut off all exports to the Allies. Aware of the sympathies of the Brazilian emperor, Britain gets pissed when Brazil refuses to join the war. After enough complaining, and nearly a declaration of war, Brazil too cuts of all exports to the Allies. The rest of the war goes as it did in our timeline. However, with fewer resources, equipment production in the UK slows to a halt. Thus, the Allies can’t afford to expend as many soldiers. Dunkirk, for an example, isn’t as big as it was in our timeline. During all this, Germany refuses to ally with Japan. Instead, they focus on building relations with Turkey. Like the non-aggression pact that was signed between the Soviets and Turkey twenty years earlier ( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Treaty_of_Moscow_(1921) ), a peace pact is signed between Turkey and Germany. With the failed intervention in Peru in mind, intervention is viewed much more negatively in this timeline. The America First Committee gathers a large amount of support from both the American public and elites. A much greater focus is placed on conserving and assisting capitalism, as well as entrepreneurship. With these two factors in mind, the U.S. oil embargo on Japan never happens, as both the general public and rich elite fear the damaging of trade, and the loss of American economic growth. Both the Brits and the Dutch also don't carry out the embargo, due to scant resources. Roosevelt is forced to bow to capitalist pressure, though he still tries to squeeze in some social democratic policies here and there. Truman would suddenly be assassinated in 1943, leading the isolationist Robert Rice Reynolds to become vice-president to Roosevelt (much to the latter's dismay, due to the former’s opposition to Roosevelt’s reforms). Eventually, he himself would become president upon Roosevelt's death. With fewer Allied soldiers on the western front, more German soldiers are sent to the eastern front. As such, they manage to win the battle of Stalingrad and push into the Caucasus. Initially, their tanks are stopped by the lack of infrastructure in the region, and their soldiers can’t advance on foot due to partisans in the mountains. On the condition that they be given control over their oil fields from Britain, and be granted control over Azerbaijan once the war is over, Iran joins the war on the side of Germany. Though the soviets try to invade them through Central Asia, they are knocked back by Iran when the Luftwaffe gives them a sizable number of planes. Eventually, peace is signed between the parties. The Soviet Union would soon break into a dozen separate pieces, with ethnic and political tensions dominating life for the Soviet population. What about Japan, then? As stated, the embargo never happens in this timeline. As such, both the IJA the IJN focus more on China. By 1945, they have managed to conquer most of it, though the terrain of both Northwestern and Southwestern China make the IJA soldiers easy to ambush and hard to supply. As such, the Japanese stop their conquest, for the time being. With the administration of Dutch Indonesia in chaos, the Japanese swoop in and create a puppet state that stretches from Sumatra to the western parts of the Cilacap Regency, with the charismatic Sukarno as leader. Everything beyond this point is under control of the dutch colonists. Seeking a strongman that can unite the peninsula and purge the government of both incompetent and disloyal characters, the economic elite behind the Dutch East India Company put the despotic Raymond Westerling in charge. The city of Semarang would become the post-war Berlin of this timeline, with one section controlled by the Japanese puppet, and the other by the Dutch colonial administration, with both being the administrative capitals of their respective sides. With german submarines and aircraft harassing the British, they eventually give up the fight and peace out. This greatly angers and demoralizes both the British public, old guard politicians, and aristocracy. Left-wing radicalism soon starts to grow. In 1947, two years after the end of the war, a communist revolution would overthrow both the British parlament and the monarchy. Using the chaos to their advantage, the colonies and dominions soon break away. In the aftermath of the war, the United States public, now long past the great depression, would begin to support more expansionist and aggressive measures. Having generally supported the capitalist views of most Americans at the time, the Republican party would soon take a heel turn and become nationalistic. As they continually support whatever views the public has, the Republican party would be seen as the party of the masses, and would soar in popularity. Storm Thurmond (a member of the Republican party in this timeline) is soon elected, and his first course of action is to seize control over Greenland. By 1952, the IJN would have managed to conquer most of China and Mongolia, though instability greatly plagues their puppet state. Britain, at this point, would have become interested in spreading the revolution into Ireland, while retaining sour tensions with Germany. Germany begins a giant bunker project along the coast fo France, and has started to put pressure on Spain and Portugal. Japan looks at Australia and New Zealand, helpless without the royal navy, and foams at the mouth. A cold war would has begun to develop between a reinvigorated United States, well-fortified Germany and ambitious Japan. Which one of these great powers will see the sunlight, in these dark times? Or will they all fight, until it is blocked out forever? That’s my take on this scenario. Anyone else have an idea regarding how the Germans could have won, as well as the aftermath? I’m genuinely quite curious.

I'm no historian, but the statements that you laid out at the foundation of the idea of an nazi dominated world are completely ludicrous. Are you saying that Germans had no problems with oil in 1944 and 1945, after the Romanian oilfields were first destroyed by aerial attacks and then occupied by Soviets? It is true that Germans increased their syntehic oil output along the way, hovewer the German oil demand was never fully satisfied from the very beggining and the only reason why Germany could wage a war for 5 years is their oil supplies stored before the war. In 1944 the supplies were alredy getting exhousted. Lack of oil was the reason why Germans did not focus on developing jet fighters (because the combustion engine burns through fuel like hell), why Italian fleet stayed idle in ports, why the Allies waisted so much forces attempting to destroy Ploesti oilfields. Why would Soviets want to take back Moscow that badly? Losing Moscow would surely be painful, but Soviets were cinical and perfectly aware that it's not the end of the world. So long as the industrial centers are operational and oil is flowing from Causasus, the war can go on, therefore defence of the oilfields would be considered higher priority than retaking Moscow. Germany would become entirely self-sufficient? Maybe, but first they would have to deal with the guerilla in the east, estabilish supply lines, rebuild destroyed infrastructure and at the same time manage to not spread their forces too thinly. It is naive to beleve that US would just not declare war on Germany sooner or later, just as it is naive to think that British Empire with their ever improving submarine detection can be starved to death. Oh, it is also worth to mention that siberian regiments were no "elite". They were just regular regiments.
There are infinite possibilities. The reactions following different actions brings with it randomness. For example: Stalin could’ve moved the capital to Kazan but what if he didn‘t? What if by some miracle Stalimgrad was still held, or they reconquered Moscow which then fell again? The options are limitless However! This video is by far one of the best as it takes many of that into account and doubles down on emphasizing how this is all a theoretical scenario, pure theory that is as likely as any other theory out there on RUclips.
Something overlooked in History when it comes to WWII: "The Greeks delayed by two or more vital months the German attack against Russia; if we did not have this long delay, the outcome of the war would have been different" - Hitler's Chief Of Staff. "We Thank the Greek people whose resistance decided WWII... You fought unarmed and won, small against big... You gave us time to defend ourselves" - Joseph Stalin.
@Leo Mittas True. What's more fascinating is Greece held against the Germans more than any other European country. While France the "superpower" at the time fell in 43 days. Greece gave a good fight, stalling the Germans plans by resisting a total of 219 days. More than any other European country.
Really think you should do multiple of these, doing many different scenarios. There are so many deep alternative scenarios of how Germany could have one, and each one could merit it's own video.
It's an assumption born out of a perfectly bifurcated and dichotomized view of economic policy. To the neo-liberal boomer, the nazis were essentially communist because their economy was subject to national intervention. To the AntiFa cumdumpster they were capitalists because the normative operations of their market economy were largely, though not entirely, autonomous.
Finally someone realizes that winning WW 2 and conquering the world are two different tasks.

One small problem. All borders and scenarios around Finland were off. Finns fought alongside germany in barbarossa and we stopped voluntarily our attack on lake onega. With german succes, finns would take all karelia up the white sea and maybe kola peninsula, if germany wouldn't take it.
It's my understanding that the Finns only took from the Russians what the Russians took from them during the 'Winter War'. No more, no less.
michael wier You are actually wrong. Even since we got out independence we wanted to have the whole of east karelia, so we occupied it during continuation war.
First about it was about Finland regaining lands lost after the Winter War but after that their goal was to create a greater finland
What IF Julius Caesar Survived being assassinated?
Probably Dacia would have been invaded much earlier, since Caesar had plans to conquer it (king Burebista of the dacians supported Pompeii in the Roman civil war, and thus Ceasar wanted to give them a lesson).
yes good topic OK!
Two, Great Britain had total control over the English Channel and this would mean that an invasion of Great Britain by the Germans would be practically

The Japanese would have conquered most of Asia so the Vietnamese would be to busy fighting or joining the Japanese to be worrying about communism or Nazi's.
@@benelmen6051 The communist threat in Indochina actually predated the Japanese takeover.

The U.S. had “the bomb” first so the Big H was not going to frack with Uncle Sam.
Superb presentation and thought process of the entire process.

Even if they took Moscow it wouldn't change the outcome, napoleon did the same thing and even took Moscow and the results were the same

Francesco Nesi I gave the soviets a little bit of a luck in my timeline, but that’s what will basically happen.
@Zeke Bean Okay, I’ll bite.
Here’s my scenario:
Direct funding by Germany leads the National Socialist Movement of Chile to amass greater resources.

It is naive to beleve that US would just not declare war on Germany sooner or later,
just as it is naive to think that British Empire with their ever improving submarine detection can be starved to death.
Oh, it is also worth to mention that siberian regiments were no "elite". They were just regular regiments.
There were tests done during ww2 and it was determined that Britain could survive with no imports

The reactions following different actions brings with it randomness.

What if by some miracle Stalimgrad was still held, or they reconquered Moscow which then fell again?
The options are limitless
However! This video is by far one of the best as it takes many of that into account and doubles down on emphasizing how this is all a theoretical scenario, pure theory that is as likely as any other theory out there on RUclips.
