It's a whole new chapter in physics. As he said in his video "I am going to move my hand", but, when his hand was not moving, or for some stagnant, not moving, the pendulum moved. What he is showing, is that the pendulum will move on its own to the correct answer, even if you want to influence it. I'm not trying to sound rude, but a pendulum does not have to weigh a certain amount or be a certain shape. You can use a needle or a ring on a string if that's all you have. And you should ask the pendulum to show you yes/no/i don't know.
