  • Dawn of Georgetown is the time for some of the Famous Penang Food stalls to get prepared to start their businesses. At the junction of Lebuh Pantai and Lebuh Melayu, there are two stalls just located by each nearby corner that had been running their business for over decades. Each stall is well known to the locals and has its patrons. The Char Hor Fun Stall that is also selling Hokkien Char is one of the nostalgic flavored dishes that still maintain a wok aroma and fresh ingredients.
    On the other corner, Koay Teow Soup has been running their business since the father's generation. The taste still nothing changes since then the broth's natural sweetness brings up the Koay Teow Soup flavor. For those that miss the real Penang Street food those days, this is the place to list down on the checklist.

    Char Hor Fun - 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm (Not Certain)
    Koay Teow Thng - 6 pm - 11 pm (Wed Off)

    Ah Heng also selling Yee Fu mee, not only 2 types. Last time Ah Heng put pork liver and kampung egg, no more now. Old hen Koay Teow soup a bit out compare with the old lady boss prepared last time.
