A man is never honored in his own country. This group I have held to d highest regards. They have always put me in a trance and when I c them going about their normal lives, I turned into an Ediot cause I can't believe my eyes that I'm looking at these great kings. As a teenager in d seventies until now when I hear their songs. They r so humbled. They would greet us youg and old when our path cross. One of d most unique harmonized voice I have ever heard. They r kings I tell u. Let Jah be praised.
This is why roots reggae will always remain timeless. The message doesn't age and such musicians carry the same zeal and passion 50 years later.
For those who have been fortunate enough to experience this live, you have been blessed with some of the best Reggae has to offer. Spiritual power shower.

The Abyssinians have changed my life. It took me a lot of years and a lot of mistakes, to see a better way of living. As I did, I started to listen to reggae music all the time, and the Abyssinians most of all. This is the kind of music I wish temples and churches accross the world would tune into. I would be at every service, front row and centre, if they did. Maybe I will have to recommend it to my local church. After all, I didn't know about them myself, until recently...
Lets start our own place of worship then! :)

Unbelievable that they still sound just as good as they did back in the 70s. Can't think of another artist or band that's maintained their sound as well as these guys.
