Such a beautiful technique. I bought a jar of Patty Pockets on your recommendation all those many years ago. I only have the original. Didn't know she came out with colors. The crazing effect is so yummy. Hubby passed away and somehow I've lost nearly 3 years. Getting back to my crafting and this is a must try soon.

Venetian plaster also contains marble dust which gives it that glow. These are amazing!

I love making these pages, they are so rich looking. I used my new colors of Stainz. The original Vintage is still my favorite, but the other colors are beautiful. The Stormy Gray is a blue-gray, like a Paynes Gray, I love it. Added some Izink Silver Shine with the gray, Wow! Mixing these on the plate you can get interesting variations. Gray with Lullaby Blue is nice. Rosewood Brick is a pinkish red and looks nice with Izink Bronze Shimmer or Copper Buff for a Rose-Gold effect. Thanks Robyn for inspiring me!

Watching your video from a couple years back on the venetian plaster technique is the reason why I first bought a gelli plate! I created some beautiful pulls right from the get go and I was hooked! Thank you for so generously sharing your skills with us. Now I have to get your book!

This is my FAV chapter! Love watching you do this in person, too! FYI: the new DecoArts Earth colors made from reclaimed paint are also lusciouly matte. Double checked lable, DecoEarth is the official paint line name.

Gorgeous! I bought some of Seth Apter supplies direct from Seth. They are better. I felt the bottles themselves worked better also. And you r so right, everyone must have Seth’s gold spray. Absolutely the best!

Hi Robyn! My daughter gifted me your book for Mother’s Day…of course it was on my Amazon wishlist! Oh my gosh… it’s beautiful, and I can hardly wait to dig in to it! I’ll try to do the book along with these RUclips tutorials, which should give me lots of ideas and extra nuggets of inspiration! Thank you!

This is so awesome, I couldn't wait to try it and quickly became surrounded with paints, inks, and glimmer sprays! The first few tries was not too bad. In the second few pages, I was more liberal with the inks and blending 2 ink colours with gold, and love the results. I have come to the conclusion that it is not less is more, but more is better with the inks, so long as you don't make the colour too dark.

Thank you, thank you, thank you. I haven’t used my gel plate lately as I wasn’t thrilled with the prints I got using regular acrylic paint. What you did here is very exciting and more my aesthetic. I’m going to pull everything out and get started. Yahoo!❤

    Thanks for sharing!
The only issue I have with the Patty Pockets products, if you do not use them up quickly, then they may start molding. 2 times this happend now to me (always new brushes when dipping in, always new spoon when get a portion out etc., no contamination from my side), I have ordered a second batch, but it did not work, same story again. The brown one.
I still have 2 (not opened yet -other colors). Just to let others know, USE THEM UP quickly. I´m not sure what the problem is. The stuff looks great on prints, really.
But this experinces make me think of what happend to a piece of art in the future? Is it really archival? I´m not sure. I´m living in Switzerland, perhaps the climate is also a factor to consider. I have no clou. But will not use it for now. I work on something similar with alcohol and glicerine (and walnut ink) for this effect. Just to be sure.

Temu is going to ruin small business. Do not support them. They are the reason why we can't have nice things.
