It was nice you all got some sweet potatoes. Although you can trim your leaves some, having them are very important to the development of the tubers. I know they're edible, but I've never heard of anyone stealing them.
Considering the times we live in, not much surprises me. This was the first time we'd experienced theft in our garden. Not many people know that sweet potato leaves are edible. We have an idea who did it, but I'll keep that to myself. Thanks for stopping by.
@@ReclaimingOurRoots I understand you not wanting to reveal the person. And I did subscribe, so I'll be stopping by more.
@@ReasonsWhy5 Thanks for subbing!
Nice harvest. The peppers are stunning.
Thank you kindly
Nice harvest you could put more mulch in the bags next time with some natural fertilizer higher in potassium than nitrogen. Then you might get bigger potatoes and more of them.
Thank you for the suggestion.
Black cow mixed with Garden soil ❤works wonders 🌱🍠

I love it ❤
Thank you!
Great ❤
Thanks Love!
What did you use for a container mix?
I used a organic potting mix from Costco.
Please dump out all of your sweet potato plants completely over and go through the dirt! Sweet potatoes grow deep! You probably left more in the poTs than you took!
We did go back through and dump each container on a tarp. No extra sweet potatoes. Better luck next year. Thanks for stopping by.
