@@anthonyjordan830 I don't you can compare those two cases, in Lamp of Murmuur's case they went from playing some sort of gothic rock inflected black metal on Submission and Slavery to full on Immortal worship on Saturnian Bloodstorm. Spectal Wound haven't really changed their sound at all, this is just a midpaced track that a lot of the same bands they were/are influenced by have done before. The slower parts of Infernal Decadence and A Diabolic Thirst are very much in the same vein as this song.

It's fine. They can't go blastbeating all the time, so I appreciate them going mid-paced and punky for once, sort of like Akitsa or Ildjarn.
