Our 2014 has been extremely reliable, not a single issue and the spark plugs are ready to reach.
toyota/nissan V8 are really good
The 390hp VK50 made the FX50 a cool crossover Dad's wouldn't be embarrassed to drive.
Let’s not forget about the Lexus UZ V8s
My 2011 m56 puts a smile on my face every time I drive it 137,xxx still strong
Do me a favor, and take this video down. The less the internet knows about these things the longer we can have them without markup 😂
I don't care what you say that's a junk motor.I hate that engine. Current engines have piston slap problems. In my opinion there's one giant design flaw in that engine and that's the placement of the oil pump. And real trucks don't have spark plugs. .
Not sure about the new direct injected one, but the VK56 was a damn good motor. The biggest issue was the exhaust manifolds, though. They all cracked. It was just a matter of when.
What else was it that bill? Has anybody noticed that Politicians only tell you a 1/2 the story.
Need to see more video's about these engines rebuilds, performance mods, etc, I love my nissan titan this engine is one of the reasons why. Currently have 200k on dash and looking to rebuild. These engines are awesome honestly I need to learn more been stuck on LS for a while. Thanks for the short👍
Had a 5.6 titan and was a good truck just had to get away from the stock radiator after 3 failed then just put in an all aluminum and was good to go.
I drive a 2014 NV2500 with this motor and it’s incredible how much more drivable it is compared to other work vans like the promaster
One of, if not my most favorite engine in the 40 cars I’ve owned in my lifetime. It’s a superb engine.
M56s owner here, while my engine only has some bolt-on intakes, lemme tell ya- when ya wanna give it some grunt, she'll move with a quickness. You definitely feel that 400hp putting in the work!
I've got the Nissan Pathfinder with the 5.6 V8. Holy fucking shit is that thing fast, you cannot get stuck in the mud either. I live on a big ass Hill and when it snows I'm one of the only people that can get in my driveway. The Pathfinder is what my old lady drives and I drive a Nissan Titan heavy metal. All my neighbors have jeeps and dumb ass trucks and they ain't worth the fuck. Most the time I got to help my neighbors getting their driveways😂
I owned a Infiniti FX50 with the 5.0 port injection, amazing car, then a QX80, which was ungodly quick and nimble, added a gmc Denali to the group, which lost horribly to the smaller displacement 5.6, and recently bought a new left over Nissan Armada Platinum that is on a 12 year old platform and breaking in nice. The Nissan isn’t on the same level as the Infiniti qx80 trim for trim, but the Armada hits the right PowerPoint, it will squat down in the rear, front tires grabbing and is gone.
❤️ my VK56🤘
Might consider this for my Frontier when the KA24DE finally dies, if ever
As a q70 5.6 4wd owner the motor has tons of potential! The power output is great but the only restriction are is the exhaust. Ones upgraded along with intakes..
That intake is off an Australian V8 supercars engine . Volvo also had a V8 that raced the same time .
