FIRST OFF I APPRECIATE YOU MAKING THIS VIDEO BECAUSE YOU DIDNT HAVE TO AND I HAVE NO PROBLEM WITH YOU SAYING MY CHANNEL IM OPEN TO ANY DISCUSSION OR ANYTHING I WANT NOTHING MORE THAN TO HELP THIS COMMUNITY, AS FAR AS OTHER COMPANIES AND HEAT TREATMENT I DO TALK ABOUT THEM PRETTY OFTEN BUT YOU ARE 100% RIGHT I SHOULDA MENTIONED IT IN THAT VIDEO. AS FAR AS THE SPINE TEST IM ONLY ONE PERSON OUT OF A LOT, HOWEVER YOURS DID VERY WELL THANK YOU SIR YOU SEEM LIKE A GOOD GUY.
It seems to me you are a fan of Hinderer Knives, but yet make some disparaging or controversial videos about them from time to time. So to me it sends very confusing signals. I have had a lot of discussions with Nick Shabazz over the years about the responsibilities of big name RUclips knife folks. You would definitely be one of those. I still feel like there needs to be a 2 part video on this. The one where you test them, but don't publish it. Then contact Hinderer customer service and let them know the issue. Then part two of the same video would be how that company handled it. My concern with your video is when were the knives made? Did you get them direct from Hinderer or an authorized Hinderer dealer? If you did get them brand new did they have these issues straight out of the box? Have they been modified? Are the pivots tight? As you can tell I have a lot of questions. I would love for you to send all the ones that failed to Hinderer, so they can check them out, and at least have the opportunity to respond. I understand the video at its face value but I feel like you and other big name reviewers, like Nick and Metal Complex, don't always realize the broad reaching negative impact such videos can have with in the knife community.
@@usamadeblade7545its a good thing Neeves published the video…what you are basically implying is that knife reviewers should post only positive reviews and videos of knives…wheres the objectivity and freedom of speech in that? We as consumers should be able to see both sides of the story of each knife before we buy it, especially if the knife is as expensive as a new gun…by the way the Hinderer issue even in your case would be immediately apparent if you really used the knife..my friend used his 600$ xm24 he bought from lamnia the other day in the woods in simple battoning of thin sticks, it failed everytime he hit it…that´s what we call hard use these days? Mate be ashamed of yourself! what you are promoting is totalitarian in nature…the only thing i agree with are the questions you proposed to neeves about providing more detail, but we should always be able to see positive and negative details about each knife!

Just got my Hinderer Eklipse 3.5 harpoon tanto and it’s perfect, spinewhacked it just to test and it didn’t flinch, even grind, crazy sharp, centered, you name it. Flawless. Very happy.
I'm with you, and stated it on his video. He should've reached out to Hinderer first. If I have an issue with something, I'm contacting the manufacturer, if not after the first one, definitely the second! How you collect 8 of something without reaching out is beyond me. It's the mature thing to do, and you could also be preventing other consumers from personal injury(if it is actually a "real" problem). I'm not accusing Jared of a con job here, but my fuckery meter gets pegged when I see content like this. It's a shame too, to see the dog pile of negative Hinderer comments under that video, and it is entirely based on anecdotal evidence.
Thank you, Mr. USA Made Blade, for clearing the air in regards to this. Bought my first Eklipse from you. You're gracious enough by calling me to confirm my order.
I whacked mine. I’ve never had one fail, had many hinderers in many models. The S45VN is great. Mine had a bad tip, it happens, I got it fixed. Rick has said and Sam has said why they are ground how they are, why they have the edge they do, and why they have the hrc they do. Their M390 and S45VN is just as good as everyone else.
I just watched the video you are referencing. The sound of those knives with locks that failed sure had the sound of loose hardware to me. My Hinderer knives have a distinct sound when they lock up and hardware is loose.
Remember folks, fanboyism makes products stagnate while everything else around them progresses. Some of the brands and models i like the most are the same ones i criticize harshest. Thats not necessarily referring to the video, but its certainly relevant to a lot of the comments ive seen.
It's good to hear that Hinderer lock tests every knife before they go out the door. Some knife makers/companies don't believe in having locks that lock, or checking for safety. I haven't heard of widespread failure on Hinderers personally. None of the ones I had in the past had lock failure either. However, I do believe that Neeves, whether due to simple bad luck or whatever, has Hinderers that legitimately fail. He's experienced with knives so I doubt reassembly or modification is the reason why his have failure. As long as it's not a widespread issue and Hinderer is willing to fix it when it does happen I don't see it as a big problem. On a side note, I do watch all of Neeves videos and he will call out (without exception) any company running steel on the soft side. Obviously I do too, as you know. I don't believe he is trying to single out RHK. People like Hinderer S45VN and I have personally said it's one of the steels Hinderer does well because at 60-62 it's still quite good. MagnaCut feels lackluster at 60-62 and I can name plenty of US made competition that is running it harder than that. Hogue, Koenig, Chris Reeve Knives, Tactile on the Archer and Maverick, Les George, Protech, and so on. I think it is a fair criticism when US competition (both cheaper and more expensive) are able to achieve the hardness that customers are asking for. Last point, kudos for making this video. When issues arise the best way to address them is to show, not just tell.
I do like Hinderer knives except the Heat Treatment. A knife in that geometry & price should be pulling all they can out of the steel Dr Larrin Thomas (the guy who invented the steel) even says Magnacut doesn't lose any toughness until after 62.5 hrc... so at over $400 what's the benefit in 30 thou bte @ 60hrc Magnacut? Besides it being a axe!?
@@tacticalcenter8658 the level of science Nathan at Carothers puts into his heat treats and tweaks is in a whole different universe. And the results show.
I like Hinderer knives, I bought some from USA MB, and I am happy with their performance....they do what they are supposed to do, cut things. Everyone stay safe!
@@tacticalcenter8658all 4 of mine are rock solid how are yours?? Ohhhh wait it Dosent matter you could never afford one anyways. You’ll be sure to comment on it though
The two hinderer’s I currently own both came from you in 2021 and 2022 I believe. The first is a Jurassic that has excellent fit and finish and has always felt super solid. The second is a skinny harpoon spanto 3.5 which has always felt much more clunky and just not as solid plus has centering issues. My biggest gripe though is that the 20cv doesn’t feel great or de-burr well when sharpening and doesn’t hold an edge like my 20cv Arius. With all that said, the lock up has always felt solid and I haven’t seen any evidence of lock failure, although I won’t spine whack them hard because I believe it’s terrible for the lock and lock face.
Tampering. May not have been on purpose but totally explains why they could be failing. As far as I can see Neeves knives hasn’t responded saying his hadn’t ever been tampered with or modified in anyway.
Honestly there can be several reasons. The lock testing has not always been in place so we know some older models had some issues. There also was a short period of time where the market wanted nothing but early lock up, so Hinderer was trying to answer to that demand for a short period. The other reason can be from modifications. Neeves even has a video about how to adjust lock tension. This I think is his most dangerous video. Most manufacturers say adjusting lock tension is a big no no. If your tension is an issue it should be sent in for adjustment, never messed with at home. Lastly there is no doubt there are always going to be some that get through. This can be from parts that settle or even a small burr that pops off after 10 flips. Some getting through though would be less than 1% in my opinion. This is not just true for Hinderer but we see some every year from all makers from $200-$1000 plus.
I just checked ever single one of my Hinderers. All purchased from Hinderer dealers and none have been modified in any way. Out of the 6 that I own I had 1 failure. It was my oldest one, XM-18 Skinny 3.5" Tri Way pivot.
I watched said RUclipsrs video last night and immediately got out of bed to check my XM-18 that I just bought in December. No issues. Passed the test without even the slightest doubt. So it kinda makes me wonder if Ja%^d is modifying his in a way that's causing them to fail the spine wack test. IDK. Mine is completely stock factory (bearings), with the steel lock bar insert, and I have added a little KPL to it. And it's screaming sharp. So, idk. I may be a bit biased because this is my first Hinderer and I WANT it to be good. But I really whacked at least a dozen times, and the lock didn't budge. It is what it is at that point. Can't refute the results.
except neeves mentioned his project x was brand new and it failed the worst.. and we can't ignore there are other comments saying there's have failed imma guess it's a quality control problem, some are okay but then some aren't.
@@craze77and lots saying theirs were great! If lots of people are having this issue they should contact Customerservice@rickhindererknives.com and they will get it fixed for them!
Jared said in the video that he was using Hinderer as an example on the hrc, and if you watch his content you will see he complains about low hrc (and bad edge termination) on everyone's knives. Let me ask you; if you had a case full of Hinderer knives that had lock failure, what would your opinion be? You undoubtedly have handled more Hinderers but I certainly don't think he faked the test footage of his knives. Not to mention, I have seen the lock failure complaint from others. I own one Hinderer and it's perfect, though; that's my experience.
I said in the video that I don't know the history of his knives. I don't know when he bought them, if he bought them second hand, or what modifications have been done to them. One of the great things about Hinderer Knives is that they are meant to be modified. There is though no guarantee that the person who took it apart, reassembled it correctly. I can tell in his video that a number of the knives he used were no longer with original factory parts. The point of this video is that I can not talk at all about his knives because I don't have them in front of me. All I can do is show you that the 30+ brand new Hinderer Knives sitting in front of me do not have these issues.
Thanks for the reply. I guess the point of my comment is that I don't see any reason to dismiss his experience with the knives. There's something going on there. That being said, I think spine whack tests are kind of silly, and I'm not worried about purchasing Hinderers at this point. I will most likely pull the trigger on a Project X soon. Lord help my wallet. @@usamadeblade7545
I only have one Hinderer knife. It's a 3.5 inch XM18 skinny spanto and I just tried to spine wack it and it failed on the third whack. I've never modified it, brought it brand new and I've owned it a few years. Only used it to cut cardboard and such
I love Hinderer Knives , first off i would never use a folder to batton on any wood specially a $400+ knive & anyone who is battoning on the regular or going out to the woods or what ever should have a fixed blade on him/her.That's just me though & i agree with both sides on this issue because both make good arguments.
First .i love you guys. I do think you are taking this pretty personal. I guess it does affect your sales maybe 🤷🏽♂️ . The video was about hinderer knives failing. Why would he mention other knives. He has in other videos. I can guarantee it wasnt meant to be a shit talking vodeo, but realistically people do care about thie stuff. Thanks for the video. Keep kicking ass!
I do take it a bit personal when I can line up 30 brand new knives and have no issue but folks think this is still a problem. When I was talking about him mentioning other knives I was talking about the HRC on Hinderer Knives. There are many other makes running Magnacut at 60-62.
They look like big ol heavy knives. I know some people love them big overbuilt knives and some hate them just like anything else. For those that do like that kind of thing , i think its good to hear the good and the bad and then make an decision before buying especially at what they cost. Buying USA made and using big slabs of material cost big bucks. Its nice to watch videos from several different knife reviewers and then make your own decisions.
@@usamadeblade7545 they beat on all their knives before sending them out? That's risky because it could pass for them but that does put wear on the knife and could lead to it having premature issues down the road
I've been collecting knives all my life. There will always be haters. The problem with the internet is that a single complaint becomes gospel overnight. Have you heard "My Sebenza in S**V has some microchipping." It's just unnecessary. That's why I don't watch knife reviews. Thanks Whitty for being the voice of reason.
I've owned 6 Hinderer's now (one is a fixed blade ranch bowie) and 3 of them have had issues. All purchased through an authorized dealer brand new, and my newest, an XM-24 was purchased directly from Hinderer. I will say my XM-24 is the best quality one that I have owned. It is the newest one I have, about a year old from the very first drop of XM-24 bowies. My full track had lock rock, my xm-18 fullered spear has some detent lash (not sure if that's the actual name, but it's the term I've heard). My half track wharnie had some pretty significant lock stick, not enough that it really difficult to disengage, but it definitely took a little more effort. I like Hinderer in general and their designs, but they do have some quality issues in my experience, and I haven't even tried to spine whack any of them. I will say that I sent in my Full Track for warranty work, they fixed the issue, and it was fixed fairly quickly, so I'm happy with the warranty experience. I am now working on getting the xm-18 fullered spear fixed. I don't think I will be buying any more Hinderers in the future, but I will definitely keep my Full Track and XM-24 because I do really like those designs, especially the Full Track. I kind of want a Project X, and maybe another Full Track, but I am just hesitant at this point.
Just ask the dealer to check it out for you in advance. Hinderer has a really good dealer network that will go above and beyond to make sure you are happy. If you are not, they all have a 7-15 day return policy.
@@usamadeblade7545 I returned the first fullered spear for another which had the same issue. They didn't have many left and sold out shortly after. This was back when you could actually find knives in stock and they didn't sell out instantly. I did not notice the lock rock on the full track at first. The half track wharnie was from you guys and I mentioned something about it in one of your Thursday night live streams. Rick Hinderer was in that live stream and I basically got made fun of and told "I'd rather have the lock stick a little than have it slip than closing on your hand", this was from Rick himself. Every knife I ordered early in my collecting I put in the comments, something along the lines of please check it out to make sure it's perfect.

I haven't experienced the s45 but I believe what I've heard and that's all God so hats off to RHK. I had high expectations of the Magnacut but I'd rather him not use it if he does s45 better.
The XM18 is 90% perfect. It's so close and could easily be perfect. Most of us are just sad they won't take the steps. Trust me all the 61 hrc knives get mentioned constantly but I don't expect anyone to watch that much content. A video saying, hey if you have failure we'd be glad to take care of it would be awesome.
Would have also been nice for the guy who made the video to send an email to customerservice@rickhindererknives.com and give them a chance to check out the knives first. Maybe there is more out there about other companies Magnacut but man I feel like the bulk of it is directed towards Hinderer. I get the 90% perfect part of what you are saying. No matter the knife we all have something on it we would like to see different. Thanks for watching!
I've watched his channel for years and heard lush over Hinderers, multiple times. I've also seen him discuss issues with any brand but he in no way bashes them. If you dig you will find him recommending RHK dozens of times. I get it. It feels personal because this particular video was about a beloved brand.
@@shaynegables I was not just speaking to his channel, but from other places in general. Maybe I notice it more because of my closeness to the company. I think he likes Hinderer Knives but at the same time this video is very controversial, which adds subscribers, and he knows that.
We listed the Eklipse today and made sure to put a disclaimer at the top of the description that they were used in this video. Might hurt the sales of them but to us it was worth the risk to show this issue is obviously not a current problem.
I've never had a Hinderer come that wasn't sharp. If that is what the guy was doing with the knife, that is not what it is for. And as far as a "hard use" knife goes, I don't want the HRC too high, because I'd rather sharpen more often than have the thing snap. These people constantly whining about wanting a super hard knife obviously don't know what hard use is, or they'd have a collection of broken blades😂
I personally have never had an issue with lockup, Whitty. I have had some minor discoloration on 2 of my M390/20CV, but it's easily resolved. At the end of the day, these are tools. Tools are gonna be worked. The video in question just wasn't a good one overall and should have been addressed with Hinderer 1st. Love you guys, and I know Rick and team are doing all they can to make good stuff. At the end of the day, you just can't make everyone happy about everything. Keep on being rad, and we'll keep buying nice knives from ya. The Old Man approves! 😄💧💧😄
idk man those amazon packages are pretty hard use... why would anyone use a folding knife for anything other than cutting? For drama engagement... Anectodotes are worthless, this fine gentleman has a bigger sample size. My advice: 1: Don't address trolls and sock accounts like they are real people... they are 13 years olds in the basement (or bad faith haters) 2: If your interlocutor has identified themselves in the comments (attention seeking behavior), stop engaging. I like Neeve's channel and he seems like a nice enough guy, but YT drama is cheap, and a poor look for his brand IMHO. With these drama cycles on YT, it is a handful of weirdos sitting in a discord chat with 5 sock puppet accounts stroking their own egos. From your terminally online internet wisperer. 🙏
USA MB is just hands-down the best dealer out there. Incredible transparency, full communication. I like Neeves but honestly this feels like manufactured drama (clicks) to me.
I actually agree with you. It was a quick reaction and the only way I thought I could put folks at ease about still buying a Hinderer. We did fully disclose on the Harpoon Tanto Eklipse listings today that they were part of this video. We will do the same with the XM-24s later this week. If it hurts the sales of them, that is something we will have to deal with.
Honestly can not remember on the S45. I do know that you do not want to take S45 up past 61-62. I can tell you that all the folks that seem to be steel nerds love the way Hinderer treats S45. It is why pretty much every knife to come from them in the past 12 months has been S45. When I find out the HRC I will make sure to tell you.

Not saying that there is anything wrong with it. All I can speak to is my experience. I think showing 31 out of 31 brand new Hinderer Knives not having any problems with sharpness and lock engagement should show that whatever issue may or may not have existed, does not exist at all anymore.
Jerad is a good dude, but I think posting that video before asking Hinderer for comment is a click-bait journalist type move. The classic "hey we're going to run a story on you tomorrow morning, care to comment about it?" the night before, giving you no chance to defend your name. But these creators rely on clicks to get paid, and they resort to creating drama to get them, intentional or not. He may be genuine about not wanting to start controversy, but knows posting that video will do just that. It's mostly sensationalized content and doesn't represent the macrocosm of what's going on in the knife world. Only a fraction of knife buyers even bother to watch YT. They don't care about influencers, they only care about buying knives from makers they trust. If they have a problem with a knife they don't create a video about it and post it on social media. They contact the manufacturer to resolve the issue, like an adult. I've been there and done that. Thanks for doing your due diligence, but Neeves isn't going to put a stop to anybody buying RH knives any time soon. You've clearly demonstrated why. They're built well and are trustworthy. Unless it's some softy who is easily duped into thinking their knife will fail when using it the way it was meant to be used 😆As for HRC, it's a non-issue for the way 90% of knife buyers use their knives, which is to open packages. It just doesn't matter. And they're not sharpening their own knives, either. They're sending it to a sharpening service or the manufacturer. Just a bunch of pointless drama. Keep calm and carry on.
Just because other companies run their steel soft is NOT an excuse for Hinderer to also do the same. These knives are sold at an premium Cost, and with that comes an expectation with a premium product (that goes for any maker). Companies improve over time their equipment their fit and finish machine quality etc. So it's just baffeling and mind blowing to me that they refuse to also improve their heat treatment. Afterall the blade and steel is what does the job, so it should get the same treatment of quality as every other part of the knife. We are talking about folding knives afterall, so proper HRC for the selected steel should be expected when we are talking about premium quality USA made products. And I hope more companies will be willing to step up their game when it comes to heat treatment, to give customers the best they can do. And not just "this will do", other companies slack off so we should do the same.
Hinderer moved to S45VN because it is a premium steel and because even the toughest of steel nerds love their heat treat on it. I think it was a perfect resolution to a problem that I think is way over hyped.
@@usamadeblade7545 Yeah Im glad they moved to S45VN. But out of curiosity. You mentioned in the video that you wondered if he had taken the knife apart. Would that matter? Are they still having those same problem years later.... not that we have seen! Companies go through highs and lows. There are very few that produce at the level that Hinderer has for the past 12 years that have not had issues. You’re welcome. Stop abusing a knife in a way that isn’t intended. And for the fake “tacti-cool operators” who think the blade impacting bone during a fight will disable the lock and that spine whacking tests how it will act? If you’re dumb enough to fight with your folding knife, your hand, wrist and arm will absorb impact strikes and dampen them. Oh and your hand is still wrapped around the lock bar, pinning the lock open. Stop living a fantasy.

Good point. Since I never do response videos I never thought of it that way. If I ever do another response video, which I hope I don't, I will remember this advise.

Flawless. Very happy.
I think you went above and beyond what any normal usage would do. Great video. Great knives!
I wanted one since the days when they didn't sell to commoners. Finally bought one from you, and it's awesome. Thank you.
It's a shame too, to see the dog pile of negative Hinderer comments under that video, and it is entirely based on anecdotal evidence.
fuckery meter😆
Thank you, Mr. USA Made Blade, for clearing the air in regards to this. Bought my first Eklipse from you. You're gracious enough by calling me to confirm my order.
I whacked mine. I’ve never had one fail, had many hinderers in many models. The S45VN is great. Mine had a bad tip, it happens, I got it fixed. Rick has said and Sam has said why they are ground how they are, why they have the edge they do, and why they have the hrc they do. Their M390 and S45VN is just as good as everyone else.
Two Hinderer’s bought from you (Eklipse and XM18 3.5), no issues whatsoever and would happily purchase again.
I just watched the video you are referencing. The sound of those knives with locks that failed sure had the sound of loose hardware to me. My Hinderer knives have a distinct sound when they lock up and hardware is loose.
not one had loose hardware, they are all perfectly centered with zero play any direction
Oh good lord. Exactly what the interwebs didn't need... a video of Whitty whackin' it behind his new counter. 🌳 🗡
Well you are winning funniest comment of the night award!
Reminds me when you suspected I tampered the detent hole of my hinderer knife which turned out to be false.

If they lock test every single one before they go out the door, why are we having lock failures?
31 out of 31 brand new knives and no issues. If there is a quality control problem it is darn near non existent.

I've never had a Hinderer come that wasn't sharp.
If that is what the guy was doing with the knife, that is not what it is for.

These people constantly whining about wanting a super hard knife obviously don't know what hard use is, or they'd have a collection of broken blades😂
sharpening goes better with higher hrc and it holds it better, the geometry takes care of any snapping chipping or breaking

Keep calm and carry on.
sheesh you selling these at used prices now? 😂Shouldn't have given Jared the time of day.
You are probably right about not giving him the time of day but had too many people lighting me up about it to ignore it.
@@usamadeblade7545 controversial content gets clicks.
Keep running a great business over there. 👊
They are simple frame locks not an complicated circuitboard. People should be able to maintain their knives, or swap bearngs/washers right?
@@Cid_1I being honest it should not matter. The only reason it would is if he or someone else had messed with the lock bar tension or had not tightened the pivot enough. Besides that they should run like a top. I don't think that this guy is lying I just question the history of his knives. Has Hinderer had issues in the past.... absolutely! Are they still having those same problem years later.... not that we have seen! Companies go through highs and lows. There are very few that produce at the level that Hinderer has for the past 12 years that have not had issues. What I can say is that Hinderer over the past several years has worked hard to address every single one of those issues and make sure they do not happen again.
How dare anyone question anything!!! Everyone should bow at Rick’s feet and thank the good lord he makes knives. Wow, talk about preachy. Jared questions a lot of makers. Maybe watch a few before throwing opinions out there. And, why would he when it’s about HINDERER KNIVES!! God forbid anyone question a US knife maker. I doubt this video would have been made if Jared were questioning a WE knife. Which btw have never failed on me.
How dare anyone question Jared? I can guarantee you this video would not have been made about We Knives because we don't sell Chinese Knives!
No, not question Jared. It was sarcasm. He dares to question the quality of a knife that you have a hard time being objective about. You obviously feel reason to protect Hinderer knives. As a retailer I would expect you to want to find out why his knives are failing for your customers.
@@jrsquad354sorry I mis understood. Too many hours in front of a computer the past few days are making me loopy!

Did Hinderer Knives or USA Made Blade wrong you in the past?

Sir those are the softest spine whacks ive ever seen 😕
My Hinderer XM-18 3.5 came in super dull, and after purchasing the $200 scale and $100 hardware it's my absolute worst knife in my collection! I haven't even tried the spine wack? 😢 MC got me on this horrible knife!?!? 😢😮
THE HRC IS THE WORST IMO
When did you get it and is it Magnacut, S45, or 20CV?
@@usamadeblade7545 It's the XM-18 3.5 Slicer with 20CV purchased about 1.5 years ago
@@BDevi0usWhere did you buy it from? Why would you go buy all the other hardware and scale if you hated the knife?
@usamadeblade7545 I bought from DLT Trading and it's 20cv. It was really dull and barely flicks. I bought the scale and harware thinking I would like it more and also thought the flicking action would get better? My mistake in thinking that. 🤣
@@BDevi0usDid you ever reach out to Hinderer customer service?
Totally trust your test since you have no reason to push the sales of Hinderer knives 😂😂 . Ridiculous to say plenty of makers run 61 Magnacut so its ok push to make things better so mediocrity goes away dont worry it will heip you sell more knives.
Sure I sell Hinderer Knives and believe in them. The other guy sells entertainment through youtube and affiliate links. The more likes he gets and the more views he get directly effect his income. I also said that Hinderer moved to S45 which people love the way Hinderer does S45 so the Magnacut issue should be a moot point until Hinderer decides to use it again.
To say that you do not have a dog in the fight, concerning income, surrounding all of this RUclips drama............please...........you still have 31 spine whacked hinderers you need to sell. LOL@@usamadeblade7545
@@usamadeblade7545 always trust the guy with less skin in the game
@@MridgwellWe listed the Eklipse today with a disclaimer at the top of each one that they were used in this video. We will do the same with all the XM-24s when we list them Monday or Tuesday. This should not be a trust issue. This is us showing the current inventory we have and they appear to not have these problems. Can't really do much else than that can we?
Spine whacking a frame lock is dumb. Hold the knife as it’s intended when you’re cutting with it. Notice how your hand is wrapped around the lock bar, pinning it in the locked position? You’re welcome. Stop abusing a knife in a way that isn’t intended.
And for the fake “tacti-cool operators” who think the blade impacting bone during a fight will disable the lock and that spine whacking tests how it will act? If you’re dumb enough to fight with your folding knife, your hand, wrist and arm will absorb impact strikes and dampen them. Oh and your hand is still wrapped around the lock bar, pinning the lock open.
Stop living a fantasy.
hahaha this should be good . . . starts out "i dont usually do response videos . . . " but im not gonna add a link so you can formulate your own opinion or anything . . . then why even do the video my guy? just tag jerad and say his channel or name like a man bcuz you all but danced and skirted around it and took the time to respond with a video. only 15 secs in on a new channel that had a title that caught my eye but ffs be a man. kinda like rubbin the outside of the taco but never plunging in
Good point. Since I never do response videos I never thought of it that way. If I ever do another response video, which I hope I don't, I will remember this advise.
Watch joe x before doing another one of this cringe soft whacks 🤣
