How they made it through the "Escaped Convicts" episode is beyond me! I still laugh outloud everytime I watch that episode, truly one of their best!
And don’t forget about Al. He likes to dance with Sally
@johnmartin3200 🤣 I loved that too!
One of the top 10, for sure!!
Now we know why Floyd could never get Barney’s sideburns right. Barney could not sit still laughing 😂
Lol good point
I loved Howard's Floyd the barber role. Fantastic
Somehow I knew it was Floyd.
Well, Barney could be pretty quirky Floyd the Barber was the king of quirkiness. Absolutely hilarious comedian.
Fact
Howard mcnare was also on one of the twilight zones episode 😂 thank you Bob ❤️
Hocus Pocus and Frisby, one of the best comedic episodes.
I KNEW it was Howard.
Your "Nip it!" Video is one of my favorites
I was right! Thanks for the video Bob. Take care.
The episode with the 3 escaped female prisoners. When Barney looks at Howard and he's eating a banana, I lose it every time. Its just so random . One of the funniest scenes of all time.
Howard mcnear made don Knotts laugh between takes on the set he was funny as Floyd the barber good video bob
Somehow I just knew this was going to be Howard McNear. I had heard many times before that his performance cracked people up on set but for me personally the antics of Jim Nabors and his portrayal of Gomer would do that for me.. i especially liked Jim’s performance in “Citizens arrest” and “Andy saves Gomer.”
Thank you Bob for the video. Howard and Don were great together. I loved them in The Escaped Convicts. Appreciate all you do. Praying for you 🙏 Melanie
Thank you!
Howard mcnear who played Floyd the barber was funny and he made don Knotts laugh between takes good video bob
I always have thought that Floyd is as funny as Barney too! I dont know how they got some of those episodes filmed with all the funny actors making the others laugh.
One of the most noticable things about Andy Taylor is his grammar improved as the show progressed.Aint Bee became Aunt Bee and he quit using ain't & used correct contractions.
He kinda lost the thick accent after the first season
@@theandygriffithshowfactsan3585I wish that he not lost his country accent . I liked it myself 😊 .
@clementjohnson2666 me too
Howard was funny. 😂
LÒTS OF LAUGHS WITH EVERY ONE
That’s awesome! He was a very funny man! Loved it when the two were held by convicts!
Have your T-shirts printed backwards. Problem solved.
🤪
It would have been great to be on that show, even as an extra. They mastered their characters.
Great video Bob Thanks!!
I love your videos
Thank you!
Howard was only one of the reasons why this was the best sitcom ever, and a favorite of mine. Loved both Floyd's !!
Howard was one of those guys who got you laughing before he even said anything. But to me, Don was on a whole different level. Watching The Haunted House the other night, I thought he owned that entire episode. There are plenty of other examples, as well.
Howard McNear was his hilarious self in the Elvis movie, “Blue Hawaii”. Since his personality and humor are pretty much the same in any role he plays, maybe he was always just being himself. 😀👍🏻👏🏻
Was also in Elvis' 'follow that dream' and 'roustabout'
Floyd the barber was great too!
I was pretty sure it was Floyd cracking up Barney. Both very funny 😁 people.
RUclips removes the weirdest things. 😳 No one can keep up. 🤷♀️
Have a GREAT WEEKEND TAGS Family
THIS is what I want here! Thank YOU for making my day! God bless
@@theandygriffithshowfactsan3585 I appreciate that friend & brother ! -GOD BLESS !!!

‘Nip it in the Bud” by Howard McNear…caused Don Knotts to crack-up for too many takes…😂!
Have a great day!
Don’t dust me Floyd ! I am not a disceased crop !
My fav HowardMorris
McNear was also a hoot on the George and Gracie show.
❤
Greeting
Sent two on topic comments last hour, don't see them incl
On same post?
No, was surprised had to resubmit...Brief uncontroversial comment regarding Floyd's unfortunate passing
One 5:45, 2nd 6:45...ish

Floyd was a very funny character.
Howard McNear was very underrated as a character actor, both on TAGS and elsewhere. This video made me realize something that I have known for about sixty years: That Floyd the Barber was the truly indespinsible linchpin of the cast. Other characters (Barney, Gomer, etc.) came and went and the show carried on just fine, although Barney was missed. It just wasn't as good without Floyd.
McNear was hilarious and the cast knew it.
❤❤❤😮😮😮😊😊😊
Thought it would be Otis.
Only when he was getting a little......shaaaaave.
Howard McNear was great. Too bad no one seems to have the foresight to save any bloopers from the series. His role on the radio version of Gunsmoke was definitely serious. I saw him play a doctor in the movie Anatomy of a Murder. But he was best at comedy. Thankfully Andy brought him back after the stroke. One of the biggest goofs with Return to Mayberry was not having a brief tribute to Howard McNear and Paul Hartman.
Maybe it was the person's fault....he didn't hit the insertion arrow after he made the comment. Another thing you should know is that there is a video on RUclips saying that now that Ron Howard is now 70 years old they say and I think myself that they are promoting clickbait that Ron hated Andy but from what I've heard and seen I do not believe this at all and next on the list what happened to and where is Don Knotts' two kids his daughter which you can also get easy on Google but the son deal is a different matter. Try wikipeding it and it ends up being a dead politician. Please show a picture of him, how old and where he is now. Thanks.
His daughter, Karen, wrote the book "Tied Up In Knotts" she also does a stand up routine. She plays herself in 'The Mayberry Man'
If my camera comment got your attention, it accomplished my purpose. Now - a fix? I have a delightful little web cam that sits atop my monitor and it is capable of capturing either a normal or mirrored image - not hard, cost me around $15.00. Enough said.
I wish they would show the out takes instead of just talking about them.
Sorry I don’t care to hear someone talking about them .
There are none
