How they made it through the "Escaped Convicts" episode is beyond me! I still laugh outloud everytime I watch that episode, truly one of their best!

Now we know why Floyd could never get Barney’s sideburns right. Barney could not sit still laughing 😂

The episode with the 3 escaped female prisoners. When Barney looks at Howard and he's eating a banana, I lose it every time. Its just so random . One of the funniest scenes of all time.

Somehow I just knew this was going to be Howard McNear. I had heard many times before that his performance cracked people up on set but for me personally the antics of Jim Nabors and his portrayal of Gomer would do that for me.. i especially liked Jim’s performance in “Citizens arrest” and “Andy saves Gomer.”

One of the most noticable things about Andy Taylor is his grammar improved as the show progressed.Aint Bee became Aunt Bee and he quit using ain't & used correct contractions.

Howard was one of those guys who got you laughing before he even said anything. But to me, Don was on a whole different level. Watching The Haunted House the other night, I thought he owned that entire episode. There are plenty of other examples, as well.

Howard McNear was his hilarious self in the Elvis movie, “Blue Hawaii”. Since his personality and humor are pretty much the same in any role he plays, maybe he was always just being himself. 😀👍🏻👏🏻

Howard McNear was very underrated as a character actor, both on TAGS and elsewhere. This video made me realize something that I have known for about sixty years: That Floyd the Barber was the truly indespinsible linchpin of the cast. Other characters (Barney, Gomer, etc.) came and went and the show carried on just fine, although Barney was missed. It just wasn't as good without Floyd.

Howard McNear was great. Too bad no one seems to have the foresight to save any bloopers from the series. His role on the radio version of Gunsmoke was definitely serious. I saw him play a doctor in the movie Anatomy of a Murder. But he was best at comedy. Thankfully Andy brought him back after the stroke. One of the biggest goofs with Return to Mayberry was not having a brief tribute to Howard McNear and Paul Hartman.

Maybe it was the person's fault....he didn't hit the insertion arrow after he made the comment. Another thing you should know is that there is a video on RUclips saying that now that Ron Howard is now 70 years old they say and I think myself that they are promoting clickbait that Ron hated Andy but from what I've heard and seen I do not believe this at all and next on the list what happened to and where is Don Knotts' two kids his daughter which you can also get easy on Google but the son deal is a different matter. Try wikipeding it and it ends up being a dead politician. Please show a picture of him, how old and where he is now. Thanks.

If my camera comment got your attention, it accomplished my purpose. Now - a fix? I have a delightful little web cam that sits atop my monitor and it is capable of capturing either a normal or mirrored image - not hard, cost me around $15.00. Enough said.
