Never met him though! 😊 It was written by Rory Graham and Jamie Hartman. Greetings from Scotland! Diana was still only 15yo here. The original was by the UK singer "Rag'n'Bone Man" Rory Charles Graham, who lives just up the road from my Nephew in the South of England. Never met him though! 😊 It was written by Rory Graham and Jamie Hartman. Anyway, this song is perfect for Diana because Her voice is classified as a Dramatic Contralto which is similar on level to Rory's Baritone voice. This is Diana's vocal comfort zone, although of course, she can go lower and higher while staying very stable throughout. But it's not just her ability to hit low/high notes but the immense amount of control she has. It just baffles even the great vocal coaches and trainers! Can I suggest you listen to some of her more recent original songs, mostly written by her or she had a great deal of influence in production. Quite different to her earlier work.

Great reaction Josh! Diana's voice has polyphonic overtones that allow her to produce two notes at the same time. That may be what you are hearing. It really makes her unique. A couple other songs you may like are Rechenka and Denier Danse. You should also listen to The Hu. They are a Mongolian Metal band that uses polyphonic overtones and throat singing. They produce a unique sound also.
