Heinrich Himmler (the Reichsfuhrer of the SS), the person ordered by Adolf Hitler to implement the final solution (Holocaust), told his personal masseur Felix Kersten that he always carried with him a copy of the ancient Aryan scripture, the 'Bhagavad Gita' because it relieved him of guilt about what he was doing - he felt that like the warrior Arjuna, he was simply doing his duty without attachment to his actions.

They were not innocent ! Those people were insane ! They were nothing but future soldiers, if the US hadn't dropped the nukes on em then they would have been militarized by their emperor. They had to pay the price with their flesh and blood for not doing anything against their emperor ! People are the ones who give power to kings and dictators , same thing happened with nazis ! People say oh but the Germans had no choice ! Lol it doesn't work like that
All Germans were and still are and will forever be nazis, they could have revolted against Hitler and stopped him but they chose to do nothing , they chose not to fight against him which made them his crime companions !
I'm from Iraq btw and we also were in the same situation as my people chose to do nothing against Saddam Hussein and so we were also his war companions but we paid the price from 2003-2009 as more than 1 million iraqis died during the American war on Iraq

I will say this over and over, in the short term the atomic bombs were 100% necessary. After a bloody and high casualty rate in gaining Okinawa, using those bombs saved MILLIONS of lives. The Japanese military was not going to give up and the US would have destroyed Tokyo and many millions of civilians would have died. The 500,000 Purple Hearts were made for that land invasion. It's sad that Hiroshima and Nagasaki were sacrificed, but it was doing that or a bloody land invasion that no wanted to do, but had to be done. That along with the Soviets joining the fight would have devastated Japan for years. Imagine finishing your fight against the Nazi's and then getting told to train to go to Japan and realizing that you most likely would be killed or severely injured as an infantry man. That's what those people were facing and then after the bombs were dropped Japan surrendered. You realize you get to go home and start a new life. That bombs saved a potential blood bathroom, but in return now those nuclear weapons could destroy humanity as we know it.

The United States dropped atomic bombs on urban areas where civilians lived.
①The United States knew that Japan would soon surrender.
In order to prevent Japan from being occupied by the Soviet Union due to the Soviet Union's participation in the war,
The atomic bomb hastened Japan's surrender.
②The United States is the site of two types of nuclear tests (Hiroshima type and Nagasaki type).
Without hesitation, he chose an urban area where non-white people lived.
③The American leader at the time said, ``Now that we are at war, it is OK to drop atomic bombs on civilians who are complicit in the war.'' 56 years later, terrorists who were at war with the United States dropped a new type of bomb, two hijacked planes, on the same citizens of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
