Those revolving doors are fairly common in the UK. They have the advantage of being able to compleatly close off an entrerance (the solid sections blocking both external openings). There is often a disabled button which slows them down to allow easy passage.

While these and the Palmer House Hilton ones are nice, I should probably mention that the new Hiltons near McCormick Place has Mitsubishi. No joke.
