    McKay is one of my favorite directors of entertaining films, I can't wait to see this movie. And since I was not aware of who was starring in this film, I had no idea that opening scene was Christian Bale, that seriously blew me away. That dude is a chameleon.

    I lean the route of patriot and I thought the movie was brilliant. I did not see Cheney as deep state, rather he was his own island of power and his own agenda for him at any and all cost for the love of his family. I really thought that was interesting. Also being an American, we hear nothing about him ever. He truly did disappear when he saw his work done. So kudos to Adam McKay for opening a new perspective on who Cheney was beyond what we all believed him to be. Obviously we all need to start looking beyond the narrative of the media; there is ALWAYS so much more to the story. Brilliantly done movie and every actor did amazingly!

    • @TalonAshlar
      @TalonAshlar 5 лет назад

      Brexit came because politicians ignored the collapse globalization and automation are causing to the working and now middle class. Look at Russia in 1917 or Germany in the 1920's for what happens when groups are ignored in less democratic nations

    I saw the movie but didn't like that much because i already watched other documentaries. I know that this is sort of biography of cheney but i felt donald rumsfeld role was greatly diminished to highlight only cheney.

    Adam McKay does a whole film about the dangers of power hungry men who are unaccountable to legislative bodies who jeopardize the lives of millions, but has the cheek to take a pop at Brexit. The idiocy is incredible. "You never go wrong with democracy" - we already voted!
