Warsaw is not the substitute of any other city, the "New York of Europe" or whatever. Warsaw is unique in its Warsawness, as regards both its history and present. Now a few corrections to your statements. 1) For some reason many people think that the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier is dedicated only to WW2 (and maybe WW1). Actually it honours all the important battles of Polish history, beginning with Cedynia in 972. Yes, that's no mistake, the year 972 A.C. Poland's history is much more than the 20th century only. 2) The "Elektrownia Powiśle" complex (18:33) is a former power plant, not a factory. It was not completely destroyed during WW2, some of its elements survived and are partly incorporated in the recent development. 3) The Soviet-style Palace of Culture and Science (PKiN) isn't Poland's tallest building, the nearby Varso Tower is. Btw, it has a viewing terrace planned for opening in the summer 2025, located much higher above ground than the terrace of PKiN that you explored.
Thank you very much for your comment. I completely agree with you that Warsaw is not like any other city in this world it's unique and has its own character. It has a rich history and a vibrant culture. The statement New York of Europe in to give a reference for Non-Europeans which creates certain expectations for them to understand what they will watch in the vlog. I am glad that you point out some facts which unknowingly we might have mistaken however I would like to say that the facts mentioned in the vlogs are based on how certain things are marketed to tourists and travellers. However the intention of the vlog was not to give a history lecture but to give a taste of the city's vibe. I hope you understand the intent and if you have any other concerns don't hesitate to reply. Please do watch our other vlogs aswell. We appreciate your support to the channel.
