Historically we’ve played Prosp because it can dig for engine if you don’t have it, and non-engine if you already have engine. Going first this was obviously ideal, and going second (pre-Ishizu meta) you could dig for things like Fenrir, Dark Ruler, Change of Heart, etc. Upon testing I found that there was literally no card in the entire game that Prosperity could be “substituted for” (or dig for by banishing 6) that could reasonably deal with an established Tearl board. I tried Talents for a while cause it had similar applications as Prosp going first, and is historically a solid board-breaker going second, but I found that any reasonable player would just wait until one of your choke points before using a monster effect, and resolving Talents after the fact would be moot. So it followed that since we were already maxed on ideal engine cards, it just had to be another hand trap that we could use turn 0 - Skull Meister was the one that made most sense at the time, but I’d also like to test Belle and Veiler in the future.
@@Coyotebriggs Probably because at this point everyone's expected to know what's being played in Spright. Spright lists are pretty standardized now, especially the ED
Red resonator being a tuner comes up a lot more than it should
This is almost my Spright deck entirely lol love it!
What was the card you used against bagooska? What wasbthe xyz monster you make with the bystials?
Codebreaker virus swordsman and Wollow Founder of the Drudge Dragons
How exactly does mosquito beat bystial? I’m confused
Otk
why skull miester instead of d.d. crow
dd crow doesn't negate the ishizu cards
Nice deck profile! At end you said the DMV area. Are you in the Midwest or are you in the Washington DC, MD, VA area?
Why no shifter? Any other cards youd like to change from your deck? Id like to take this to my regional this weekend
Spright really doesn’t have a bad floo matchup, but I see how this build specifically does.
can you maybe explain why no prosperity? Great decklist!
Its mostly useless going 2nd
