Snowflakes as part of a shaker card - what's not to love! Beautiful! I liked the tip of how to get perfect placement of the letter pieces too. I just love the Holiday Card Series. Nothing is better after a challenging day at work than hearing that little jingle as the video begins. Thank you, Kristina!
I love these cards. The colors are beautiful and I love the die cuts. They just make it such a unique card. Thank you for sharing and teaching. Stay blessed!
2 stunning cards, but I too think the second lilac/blue combo was the best ... I just looooove snowflakes, lilac and blue,lol.. Smashing series of cards.. Dawn from the UK
Hi Kristina, I love these cards, they're absolutely adorable as usual! I truly love watching all your video's and I've been watching the holiday series for many years now and I love it. You're so very talented and such an inspiration to many. Thanks for sharing your many talents with all of us. Hugs and Happiness, Briana C.
Beautiful! Love the colors you used. Snowflakes are definitely my favorite when it comes to Christmas cards......add a shaker element and it's even better! TFS, Heather
Kristina I loved both cards and I don't know but I think my favorite might be the malablue one as I am so partial to blue. I love blue. They are both great and those snowflakes were really beautiful and when you punched them out I felt sad as to me they were so very pretty. Then you put the shaker flakes in those areas and it became wow again. So you really did a beautiful job creating these cards. Love the idea and that Malablue. LOL pat
I'm a fairly new SSS follower and customer (LOVE SSS stamps and dies, especially the combination sets of stamps with dies), and I think I've just watched my first tutorials from you--REALLY enjoyed them and appreciate what I have learned from you, thank you!!! I was wondering where you acquired that sequin storage container, I loved it! It is something that would be available to purchase? Thank you for your help! Beautiful cards, and such clarity in your tutorial to follow!!! Best wishes to you, Joanne L.
I never know what the rule of thumb is with sequin allotment in shaker cards is... sometimes I feel like less is more, & other times, more is MORE! :D I've definitely seen cards overstuffed, though, to the point where they can no longer shake. :| Your ink color combos are so delightful, & you blend so seamlessly, I'm so "jelly," LOL!
o WOW they are both gorgeous. I like the dusty rose maybe a little better but just because I am not a purple person. But they both turned out wonderful.
Love the color combos you chose here-my favs! Thanks for sharing these gorgeous holiday cards and for doing this series again. Do you mail shaker cards of this thickness in a padded envelope?
Love the card(s) and ideas! Thank you. What kind of a holder do you use for your sequins...it looked like little plastic boxes on a plastic sheet? Awesome. Did you make that, too, or purchase? Thanks again. Chris
great card Kristina! Question, is it better to stamp and emboss a couple snowflakes at a time or stamp and powder all of them but wait till the end to heat it?
+KellyJelly9976 I'm not Kristina, but I would stamp them all at once. You run the risk of overheating the previously embossed parts and they flatten out a bit.
"save those pieces (peaces)" am I the only one who heard this as a pun? 😜 also what would be the difference on this particular card of using white vs clear embossing powder since the card paper itself is white?
+vicki jen Each class, as Kristina said, has a separate login page, but you can use the same username & password for all classes. In fact, they recommend that. HTH! :)
amazing card as always kristhina :) i have a question about the class can I watch everything after the date? I'm a full time nurse and the my schedule is a mess most of the time so is impossible to me to watch anything anytime. I'm interesting about the class but scary that I can not see it or reach it at time. (sorry my bad english)
thank you for a great video and 2 great color combo of cards. here's a weird request. who makes your sequin container, the one that has all of your colors organized and where can I find one? thanks. can't wait until your next video.
+jerilee kerr I just wrote the same question--if I get an answer, I'll leave it here for you too so we will both know. :) I love organizing tools too! :)
+jerilee kerr Where do you live? It's been slightly snowy here, almost like a postcard picture--of course snow is beautiful unless you have to drive in it! :) I live in southern Ontario, Canada not too far from Niagra Falls.
4:00 to 4:24 Why did you run the adhesive around & between each letter? I've watched this bit three times and don't know why you didn't just run a rectangle of adhesive around the word? I doubt anyone will see this 4 years after the video was posted but ... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ MAYBE?
Such beautiful cards - I love them! I saw one on Instagram when I was out so I couldn't wait to get home to watch your latest video :-) Thank you so much for sharing your cards with us!

I can't decide which colour I liked more! Both are stunning.
Although I prefer the dusty rose type colors it's easier to read the darker lavenders. LOVE this card!
Just gorgeous! Somehow you keep outdoing yourself day after day of this great series. Thanks so much for the inspiration.
i love the soft colors on this card. it's beautiful!
Both cards are gorgeous, but I loved the blue/purple more. It had a peaceful snowy sky vibe going on. Loved it!
Love shaker cards and this one is sooooo pretty. Love the colors on both samples. Great designs. TFS

Very classy and so much fun too. Need to get some more sequins lol! TFS x
So, so cute. My favorite style of the cards that you make!
Love these cards! I'm going to try them with different dies, distress inks and adding sequins to top of card instead of shaker elements.
I'm a fairly new SSS follower and customer (LOVE SSS stamps and dies, especially the combination sets of stamps with dies), and I think I've just watched my first tutorials from you--REALLY enjoyed them and appreciate what I have learned from you, thank you!!!

o WOW they are both gorgeous. I like the dusty rose maybe a little better but just because I am not a purple person. But they both turned out wonderful.

+J Lane Yes, padded envelopes are a good idea. Although, I have mailed a shaker card in a regular envelope, too.

+Scrappicat thanks I thought that may happen
Very very pretty cards Kristina!

I love shaker cards!
"save those pieces (peaces)" am I the only one who heard this as a pun? 😜 also what would be the difference on this particular card of using white vs clear embossing powder since the card paper itself is white?
So funny i heard that too! She did say you could use either powder and get the same effect. :-)
Love it! Beautiful card... Thanks for the share.
random question: why didnt u just stamp the snowflakes over the already inked paper? is there a reason?
Both cards are gorgeous. tfs!
