I didn't even know these tracks existed on the OST! Thank you for bringing them to my attention - I'm a HUGE fan of MoS! My favourite is Earth! And to all Snyder haters, this music suite is testament to the fact that the film isn't all about violence, death and destruction. There are more than several instances when MoS is introspective. Here's your proof!
12:34 every time i listen this in my bed This part always makes me go to somewhere, beautifulplace, that i can discribe ❤❤❤ Note: sorry for my english,😂
Here after the James Gunn Superman trailer was dropped. The only Gunn superhero film I’ve liked is Guardians 1, so I’m hoping for the best with Superman but it looks too clean, too “hammy” for my liking. It’s personal preference but I like weight and gravitas in the stories I consume. Man of Steel, while flawed, goes for it. Yes it has the obvious Jesus allegories, yes it’s action is insane (but very well choreographed and entertaining), and some of its decisions may not have worked for many people (Pa Kent’s death; yeah he should’ve died of a heart attack or something Clark could not have prevented). But everything about this movie, from its visuals to its score, for me anyway, is weighty. I just love the idea of trying to put these “perfect superheroes” into the real world, OUR world, and not an uber heightened reality. It makes us really think, at least it did me anyway. I’m being harsh and nitpicky, and James Gunn’s Superman may just do all the things I liked about Man of Steel. But for a guy who was always a Batman and Spider-Man fan, Man of Steel just registered for me. This music is beautiful; it’s notes and (chord) progressions aren’t complex but the soundscape Zimmer created is timeless, alien, and also vast, like the farm Clark Kent grew up on. Wish we could’ve seen how this music was to develop in Man of Steel 2 etc., but everything happens for a reason, I’m not too miffed about it. Great video, thank you for this
Man of Steele....still one of the best Hans Zimmer musical scores....right up there with Gladiator.
