Useful video! I think still Re not fixed this issue. Even in new bs6 2021 model. Few times it suddenly stopped & one time I could not able to start. I complained to service man...but they are telling some other reason. Right now ...it’s working gud...but in long run .? Once lockdown is over...I will bring my bike to u. Kindly help me!
Ben, another good DIY video, one quick question, have you tried using Prospec, Easy Cruise for himalayan and i own a 2020 himalayan please help me if i can use that on my bike or not?
I also had an issue with the bike cutting out while driving and found contact build up on the switch contacts inside. I cleaned the switch and lubricated with silicon grease no problems since. Very dangerous as my bike cut out at speed!
Bro any idea regarding the TPS location on “2021” Himalayan? Throttle body is redesigned compared to pre 2021 Himalayans and I’m not able to locate it at the usual location.
@@ONTWOWHEELSBEN Is it possible to tune TPS voltage at service center using their OBD scan tool? Or the tool is just meant to scan and detect fault codes?
I think RE should rename Himalayan, and relaunch it as RE Benzz :) ... Seriously maccha, you have done complete postmortem of Himalayan hahahaha... good work, all the best for upcoming videos :)
I agree a 100% with you on quality control issues . But name just a bike/ any bike , including the one that you own currently and I will list out atleast a dozen quality issues with the same . The SINGLE reason why you hear so much about Enfields is because they sell like wildfire in India . Too many amateurs who don’t understand a thing about motorcycles or motorcycling using , not using and abusing them left right and centre . Compare the stats to the bikes that sell in the west and you will see that RE’s are no where near the ridiculed bikes list simply because very few units are out there and they are in the hands of sensible owners who know what they got themselves into when they bought a hand assembled long stroke single from India . I have owned 26 motorcycles so far dear friend and I have used 4 RE’s to do more than 2.5 lakh kilometers . Way more than any other bike I owned . Not a fanboy friend , but a true blue blooded bikers point of view.
@@suvrosarkar4419 agree, their quality really needs lot of improvement. But their technology is very simple to understand and we enjoy learning it and fixing it. Its a different horizon in itself
I had exactly your same problem and i’m fixing it watching your videos. Thanks a lot man. A Himalayan owner.
I'm watching your video bcoz of your EN man!
Thank you. I lost my key and need to remove the switch to have a smith make a new key. I have blanks coming soon
Very useful information , Himalayan owners should be aware of 😊.
😊🙏

I haven’t tried it yet dear friend.
@@ONTWOWHEELSBEN thanks ben for reply. If you get a chance to try it please do make a video about as there are not much videos in youtube about that

Hey bro I bought Himalayan 2021, it heats up as much as 50 C. Is that normal?
Pls go read about the ambient air temperature and where it is located in your bike .
Does it happens during rains?I am having trouble with my ignition from past few weeks
Not exactly. But pls
Look underneath your key set with a torch light . If you spot a worn out sleeve or split wires , do the needful .
this helped me a lot already.. thanks man..🎉
I shared a video of left side turning, bike getting off problem... pls use without a doubt if needed.🙂
Good to know that the video helped dear friend 👍
Hi Ben, from where did you purchase the black plastic sleeve? what's the size?
Have mentioned link ( braided hose ) in the description
@@ONTWOWHEELSBEN not the braided hose.. the black plastic. Unable to find one.
@@mandar5005 the plastic sleeve is not available online. you will get it in automotive spare parts outlets.

Good to know that cleaning did the job for you . But keep an eye on the same.
Can we use cigrate lighter on heat shrink Tape ??
Yes 👍
Any disadvantages of removing fuel evap will the milage drop coz its collects fumes right
The FANTASTIC mileage is the biggest problem with the bike . It is extremely lean . So if the mileage drops it’s a good thing
@@ONTWOWHEELSBEN any dissadvantage in removing it

yes, its a brand new TB and i believe everything including idle rpm's and TPS are 100% electronically governed.
