  • The South Downs Light Railway is a 10 1⁄4 inch (260 mm) gauge railway at Pulborough in West Sussex, England. The line opened in 2000 and is accessed through the Pulborough Gaden Centre.
6100 is believed to have been built in 1948, by Carland Engineering, one of a number that they built after the Second World War. It was purchased from the family of Arthur Thomson following his death, together with the LMS pacific Locomotive ‘Coronation’, which is also at Pulborough.
It previously ran at Syon Park, Middlesex, from approximately 1993 to 2005 and thereafter at the Eastleigh Lakeside Railway between 2007 and 2019.
