@@YeatherReets I played both, although I have to say I played monster hunter more than dauntless by far.
Dauntless has its quirk and is nice enough, but quality of life wise, it is lacking compared to Monster Hunter.
You can't really compare Capcom with all its experience with the franchise and Dauntless which is new, but I think Dauntless really needs quality of life improvement.
Such as :
Rune slot for armor when you craft it, that's a bit sad to have to check a wiki before crafting
being able to cancel hunt search.
Commands feels a bit weird in the lobby but maybe it is just me or my connection
You can't remap the back button with a controller because it will cancel the remapping of the command
And I probably forgot some cause I'm a shitter
Maybe some stuffs have been updated and added, so heh
I could almost compared Monster hunter and Dauntless with Steam and EGS :
One has experience in what it is doing and has more features
The other is very nice on paper and could be a good contender, or at least have its own niche, but it is lacking in polish.
Nota : I'm only comparing Steam and EGS on that front, what they do otherwise are not in the equation

all for £30 too, which is pretty fair considering what you get, also no loot boxes or p2w mechanics either, never been there and never will be, so the DLC is gonna be pretty huge lol

1. AFK players in patrols
2. Wearing the wrong gear in elemental fights
3. there only needs to be one person on a revive (note: getting two of the Medic cells to +3 will make reviving much easier )
4. they abandon the hunt after deploying which makes it harder for other slayers INCLUDING ME
5. How cocky some slayers are just because they got exotic or better gear BUT they don't have the skills on the field
I don't know if it's just me, but I know I don't have luck - Peace

You know that elemental gear in terms of armor doesn't really matter when you have a good build, also don't was your time running medic cells you're just missing out on attack speed or damage and exotics aren't even that strong they just offer a different way to play

Little tip regarding hammers (not sure if you've heard it at all, yet, or if they've changed it since I last played); After each hit, you can both fire a shell and load a shell, as just extra things that happen. Firing after a hit just deals a bit of additional damage and reloading just fills one of your four shells/canisters. Basically, you can blast jump, reload the expended shot after hitting it, fire and reload for each subsequent hit (you can do both after each hit, bringing it from one button per attack to three), and then aetherslam with all 4 ammo's filled. It's a bit action intensive, but does significantly more damage as the fight goes on.
Like I said, you can do both after each attack, so it would be Left-click -> Right-click -> q (or whatever your reload button is), with proper timing.
I wish you'd do videos on the PROPER Monster Hunter...

I wholeheartedly agree that the Epic platform is awful and the way they get exclusives is bad. However, I think Fortnite is fine. If folks enjoy it, that's dope. It seems to be decently fun to a lot of folks and luckily does not have any loot boxes or gambling.
