- In the Concello de Malpica de Bergantiños we also have the variant of Barizo, a stretch that starts from its homonymous port with spectacular views of its beach, the Montes da Insua and Beo and the Sisargas Islands.
We will travel only the first seven kilometers to Nemeño, where the road meets the variant that starts from Ponteceso, which we will face in another day.
Despite the short distance we cover, the route contains some important architectural landmarks such as the churches of Santiago de Mens and San Martiño de Cores.
Among its clear evidence of Romanesque style we highlight the taqueado jaqués, an element that according to some scholars was used to mark the temple as a place of welcome for pilgrims.

Que pasada Malpica con sus playas me trae muchos recuerdos de mi primera acampada cuando te dejaban hacerlo beber el Ribeiro en taza al lado del puerto contemplar Sisarga grande y la chica

Muchas gracias por el comentario, Armando, Blanca. Tomamos nota de la aldea de Candelago, debe ser interesante. Lo del abrevadero creemos que tienes razón, debió ser un antiguo lavadero. Por la variante de Ponteceso damos con otro muy parecido, Rego Furado. Nos alegramos que os traigan recuerdos estos lugares. Saludos! 👋
