Hi Danii. The stitch you are doing and asked if we know what it's called (ch 1, skip 1, 1 dc in next st) is known as the Filet Crochet Stitch. This pattern is simple and beautiful. Thanks for your time to present it to us.
Love this shawl! I love how simple and beautiful this is. I’m going to make this using Lion Brand - Wool Ease Thick and Quick Yarn. Your English is fine, yes do not make another channel. Keep them all together. Plus, I have made things from people that do not speak English, and I just watch, lol. 🇺🇸❤️from Arizona🇺🇸❤️
Hi this is truly a beautiful shawl with gorgeous yarn. I will definitely being doing this as one of my future projects. Thanks for sharing it with it ❤
Thans for the tutorial. I am just starting this project, this will be my 3rd attemp at chrocheing something using this yarn. It chrochets nice but as other comment mentioned, it is pretty bad with the looping, you really have to have control over your tension. Hopefully 3rd times the charm. :)
You’re doing great with your English 💕 I love this pattern I think I’ll make it with my Lion Brand Hometown I have left over from a blanket in never finished 😜🥰
I am working on this shawl, but I was looking for the measurements for this shawl and cannot see the. Can you tell me what the gauge is for this piece. It is working up easily but I am not sure that I am working at the correct tension. 14:53 July 21 2023
I used this yarn and tried the baby velvet as well and I had a difficult time crocheting with it because I found it leaves loops so I decided to wash it. I put it in a laundry bag and when it came out what a mess! The pulls were so bad and big all over it was useless. Please keep in mind I have been crocheting for 50 years.
Cynthia Hansen I had made half a blanket and had to rip it all out for same reason! After reading about it, many people have this same complaint. One reader suggested using a smaller hook but I was so upset I am afraid to try again. But the shawl is gorgeous!
I’m finding that adding 3 doubled crochets at the ends is making it curve, did anyone else just add 2? I think I’m going to have to redo it with only putting 2 double crochets in the ends EDIT: I redid it with only 2 double crochets at the end of each row and it’s perfectly straight now
Carmen M / No, not just that.. As for me personally, I do a thumb-down.. So I do "NOT WASTE" - MY TIME, by RE-WATCHING it, if I do NOT Like something about it. & For me, I really do "NOT LIKE".. "ULTRA- LONG ACRYLIC FINGER'NAILS." So, I NEVER subscribe to - those.

@@rosannadallarosa7914 Can you imagine how soft a blanket would be if only I could crochet with it!
@@cynthiahansen9902 yes- I had hoped to gift a tv throw as a gift to a neice that just got engaged. Now Im stuck with the yarn.
If you could include the final measurements with 1.5 skeins it would be helpful
