Gran dritto !!!!!

It might be easy, just putting your bat there and nullify your opponent's shots, but it actually requires a lot of skill and touch. You have to be able to absorb the opponen't speed with a softer/tighter grip, with your arm and core, use the right bat angle so your blocks are not high, and produce speed when the ball is slower. I have played against good pimple players and they are very tricky to win against, but when I play against players who think that switching to LP is going to solve all their problems, they learn that LP is just more than placing your bat and magically reverse the spin.

@@Belgamor77 thanks for this comment! We totally agree with you, playing with LP is not as easy as many people think!

Thank you for the technique. When chopping a block, should I extend the bat up and then cut down or is it enough to move the bat down in half a movement from the starting position and make a downward movement of the bat? And should I lower the bat at the end of the stroke?

Hi I answer and Say my opinion: for block the hard top spin you must do a Movment from up to down and stay relax with your arm.

but the upward movement is short? And first the bat is straight and at the end I lower the bat? And how do you manage to hit such fast topspins at the table and immediately after the rebound? Most defenders catch topspins from behind so they can hit them at all. And what was the highest competition you played?
