This case looks like what I need for busking.... Will you be at NAMM this year? I've been in search of a case that isn't too heavy, but it's waterproof and has enough storage. All the case I see are too big! This one looks promising
Katie Ferrara I will not be at Nam, however feel free to tell the guys at mono that you saw my video. It is a great bag, I also use the M 80 quite a lot
Hi, @ 1:45 you pulled out some " padding "from the bottom of the inside of the case. Is there two of those pads, and do they attach via velcro ? Can you take them out and re-position them ? Are they supposed to be left in the base of the case for extra padding ? I ask because I have just bought one of these cases online, and one of those pads is totally out of alignment, and not attached properly. I need to know for sure that I can take them both out, then re-position them properly. Thankyou for your advice.
Let me be direct. The upper termination of the straps is too near the balance point, i.e. the handle. The result is that the headstock knocks on door frames, lift gates etc. Very annoying. Not only does the bag ride too high, but if you carry it by one strap, it tilts way off to the side-- carry it on your right shoulder and the body of the guitar is poking 'way out to your right, with the headstock on your left. Again, door frames etc. Mono is not the only offender. RB, Access, Music Area, Gator and more are in the same camp. And bass bags are even worse, because of the length of the neck. We need a carry system like Blue Heron or the Gruv Gear Gig Blade, with a lower overall profile. Just to be clear, I love the features and construction of Mono. But the bad strap location, for me, is a fatal flaw.
Hey, it depends! are you going to play around? by friends, in bars, rehearsals....then YES. There are good hard cases that are not that heavy anymore as they use to be. I think is a matter of taste.
thanks for answer me. i have a hardshell case, it give the protection that i need/trust but it is too heavy :/ thinking about to buy one of that. protect well (almost like a hardshell) or is good just to carry around?
Hi lance what's the name of the acoustic guitar pre-amp in the video ? I already have a MONO electric guitar case and I was contemplating as to whether or not the "slim sleeve" would be suitable to carry my acoustic guitar for short trips
I can understand that. On Amazon, anyway, the Mono M80 acoustic guitar sleeve is for sale at $179.99; the case made specifically for a dreadnaught is $229.99. As of March 2020 anyway.
it's perfect apart from i wish it would open like a normal bag so that I could use it busking. such a shame!
Mr Charlie Law you can use. Bucket for tips maybe?
Katie Ferrara thanks for the suggestion, I could but already carry a lot of gear into central London, I try and keep it minimal for busking.
My thoughts exactly!
Hello, would you also use the bag for international travels on a flight?
As long as you can carry on. I would trust the m80 version more

Amazon best place. Good luck
Would this fit an epiphone dot? Thanks.
I'd say probably, but you may want to check their site for dimensions. It may be a smidge to big.

No way man! A hard case is the ultimate way to protect your guitar
Does it come in black? Thanks.
Maybe but they have other design in black call m80
what are you using, man? hard shell case or that mono bag?
Icaro Moreira I always use a mono bag whether it's this one or the m80

Check out Seagull Deluxe TRIC case. It has a protection of a hard case, but weights just 1.65 kg!
