How to setup Damus to accept Lightning payments

- Tag my Nostr account (on Damus) with a lightning invoice and I'll pay you -- let's learn lightning together. I already added the "@" at the beginning of my npub so you can just copy/paste from here:

This is a brief tutorial to help you setup the Damus app to help you accept lightning payments. In the demo I use two apps:
1) Damus
apps.apple.com...
2) Wallet of Satoshi (a bitcoin/lightning wallet):

I think Damus had an upgrade. It now asks for NWC (Nostr Wallet Connect?) and not for the lnurl or wallet address. In my case this video did mot help

you can send a lightning invoice over DMs (private messaging). though you should be aware that "private messaging" on Nostr/Damus are not as private as we might hope. Over time I think this will get better, but make sure you understand your privacy needs and how it works before presuming it satisfies your use case.
@@curiousdk I followed you well thank you, does the ledger wallet also take the lightning network in charge! Seeing that here we are talking in Sats not whole coins!
there are definitely Ledger wallets that support lightning, but I don't have any direct experience using them for this kind of use-case. I prefer mobile wallets (e.g. iOS). Lightning is a payments layer that works on bitcoin. But all bitcoin is actually denominated in satoshis. I hope this helps, but let me know if I can clarify anything more.

Do you know if Strike is compatible with Nostr for a receiving over lightning?
last I checked and my current understanding is that it's not easy to use Strike with Nostr... but check this thread where Jack Mallers (founder/CEO of Strike) teases that it's coming:

Can you use this with Monero? And is this fully decentralised wallet etc and can you do a vid covering all wallets trust wallet ? Cash app?
can i use muun wallet for ln address? it just shows me ln invoice
what is the difference between using the email address and a LNURL?
Is this available using muun?
My understanding is that Muun is a self-custodial wallet meaning there is no 3rd-party service available to receive the payment on your behalf if you don't have your wallet open. So Muun can't currently support a similar address like the one I demoed in the video. It's a good wallet for other reasons and with new technologies coming such a thing should be possible, but with what we have today I think you would need to choose a different wallet provider to have a "permanent lighting address".
Hey David, I followed the steps, but there's nothing happening when I opened the satoshi wallet - only a never ending loading loop, how's that "Allow to paste from Damus" is supposed to happen if I didnt copy anything from Damus to start with ? thanks
I had a problem with my original setup of Wallet Of Satoshi and someone I was getting help from recommended to power down the phone and power it back up. I know it sounds like a bizarre fix for what's probably a software bug, but it did turn out to work for me. Want to try that and if it doesn't help let me know?
The "allow to paste" may have only happened since I already had a lightning invoice copied from Damus in the iOS clipboard. Maybe I should have cut that from the video if it's not a normal part of the experience. Sorry for the confusion.
