I usually use matte paper with weight 170-200 gsm. For better print quality it’s better to use matte photo paper, for example, sometimes I use this one www.canon-europe.com/printers/inkjet/pixma/photo-paper/mp-101/
I also use this paper, 200 weight (this is not photo paper) - fabriano.com/en/product/multipaper/
