Amazing!!! I know a woman at my church who was miracoulsly healed of a back injury after 25 years!! She could not bend down without pain, after falling down a flight of stairs. The Lord healed her a few months ago. I also know my sister was healed of scoliosis when she was 12 and my neighbor was healed of drug addiction. God is GOOD. All you need is FAITH to believe.

Jesus is in high reverence, and as the Son of God, so does he have authority. You are NOT saved by works, but by the grace of God who we give thanks to. If salvation is by law you better be making sacrifices, and living God's word to the dot, and not one sin be unpardoned or you will be facing judgement. All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. This is where Christ comes in. The bridge over our troubled waters to God our father. Us Christians live our lives in reverence and honor to what Christ did for us on the cross, because we couldn't have done it ourselves. Never condemn those who are in Christ. OR you can live in, and by the law if you choose to. But you will be judged by the law and on the judgement you gave others based on the law, which you yourself have committed.

This morning I awoke early and couldn't get back to sleep because I was troubled about some things. I went to God's Word looking for comfort, answers, conviction or whatever it was that God was trying to say to me. With thoughts from the Word mulling around in my head, I began to get ready for church while I put on this song. The words reminded me that this is what truly matters--the "mystery of God, namely Christ in whom are hidden all of the treasures of wisdom and knowledge." Colossians 2:2-3
The church sung this when I was getting baptised. What a beautiful gift the Father has given to us, His Only Begotten Son. Blessed be Christ Jesus our LORD.
I listened to this song so much when one of my best friend’s dad died. I was fairly close to him and this song brought me so much peace even though I didn’t really understand the depth of the words and the magnitude of Christ’s sacrifice for us at the time. Fast forward 8 years and God allowed life’s struggles to bring me down to my knees in complete surrender to Jesus. Satan tried to take my life in the midst of my anguish but Jesus did not allow that. In a depressed rage I crashed my car and it flipped over and everyone thought for sure the driver was dead but I not only didn’t die, I walked out from a flipped over car with a minor bump on my knee and finger. Jesus then healed my mind and pulled me out of the depths of suicidal depression and he reassured me that I only needed to hold on just a bit longer that he is coming soon for us who look to Him and live according to His will. My Lord Jesus Christ even if you don’t come in my lifetime, I will never again turn my back on you. Thank you for saving me.

This preciuos harmoneous hymn i believe captures the essence of Christianity. As mere humans, our minds are not 'wired' to comprehend His greatest love for the world (us all) & the greatest need fo it, in all of history of mankind to the present & complete assurance of Jesus' return to pass judgement on EVERY soul. The 4 major events of His life: miraculous birth, crucifiction on a cross, resurrection to life again (ultimate divine power over death) & His destined future return to rule forever in the new world, as the world we know no longer exists. The hope believers carry in their souls is based on all of this TRUTH.

What God really wants is an honest, sincere trusting in His Son Jesus (not merely verbal or intellectual assent to doctrine). He is a forgiving God, gracious, compassionate, slow to anger, and abounding in love (Nehemiah 9:17). Trust in Jesus Christ- you will not be disappointed.

I respect that you aren't a person of Faith. But if you could only believe in a higher power once you can explain Him as 100% provable, then that's not Faith. An infinite Being like God could never be fully explained or proved by tiny human minds. That's like downloading the entire internet into one brain cell. Even a large number of scientific 'mysteries' can't be explained with all the technology that we have at our disposal. And that makes certain aspects of science not 100% provable. Did you know that science has yet to confirm why we dream? They can see that something is happening with our synapses but can't explain why it happens in the first place and why it is needed for our brain to continue cognitive function. And that's something that every person does every single night they've been alive - can't be explained to this day. Did you also know that astrophysicists and mathematicians have found an equation that finally makes up for the in-discrepancies they had with the Big Bang Theory and that this equation now means that the dark matter of the universe is actually of infinite age? Yes, infinite age, meaning that the stuff that holds everything in our universe together was never created and always was. I would highly recommend looking up the article, as it was a phenomenal read. Oh, and last time I checked, bumblebees are still defying the laws of physics by flying around with wings that shouldn't be able to lift their body weight. Science is not infallible and it's also not completely provable either even though it's a very real fact. Sometimes, it takes just as much Faith in believing in some aspects of science as it does to have Faith in a higher power. But it's never about provability. It's usually about not wanting to believe we are accountable to someone greater for the faults we commit so naturally. No invisible, unprovable Somebody can tell me how to live my life, so I just won't believe they are real unless I can find iron-clad proof. Your statement pretty much says, "It doesn't effect me if I can't prove that it does." And that is simply not the case for so many things in our world that it astounds me that people are still using that argument. I can respect when someone doesn't believe in God because every person has the right to take whatever stance on Faith that they want. But I have a hard time maintaining that respect when they say it's because science explains everything that Faith doesn't and there is not proof of God so He's not real. People can put an ounce of Faith into trying to prove that multiverses (which are still in the realm of science fiction) exist but not that our very calculated, very finely woven existence was the work of a Master being. Very interesting.
It's nice to see that your example of how far we've come in science knowledge is lazy and underwhelming and doesn't address any of the points I brought up. I mean, you did just see me say previously that scientists have nearly proved that the Big Bang Theory is wrong and that the universe always was in existence, right? If that's supposed to be true and the only thing proving it is intangible math, then it's gonna take a lot of 'faith' in strangers for you to accept it as science fact. I did not choose to put my trust in a higher power because I am blind and do not wish to seek the truth. In fact, it was the opposite. I went to seek the truth, studied in biology and chemistry and anatomy and ancient history. And the deeper I studied, the more a case for intelligent design became clear. My belief in God came with diving into the depth of his creation and seeing his signature everywhere. I saw evidences of design vs. random mutation and I reasoned what the only logical conclusion could be. Because it can't be both random combination mutation AND specifically designed adaptable systems at once. And if something had a hand in designing the most intricate parts of our existence, then that something or someone deserved my attention. I don't hinder knowledge. I teach it. Both on the scientific and metaphysical spectrum. In no way have I ever rooted for truth to be hidden or for science to be silenced. I am not afraid of what science will tell me because my Faith is not in opposition to the laws that govern the universe. If you honestly think that Christians are self-serving, then you have spent far too much time lurking around North America's spoiled, comfortable and lazy Faith community. Travel the world, the dark and scary and war-torn parts, and you'll find Christians far braver than you or I will ever be, out there serving people's needs upon risk of death. Because the Bible actually tells us that we're useless to our Faith unless we get up off our butts, put aside our comforts and luxuries, and live to serve others. When Ebola broke in West Africa a few years ago, Christian organizations were some of the first people rushing in to care for the sick and were often the last groups to leave. Look up the lives of Mother Teresa and Amy Carmichael. If you say you don't have respect for their 'self-serving ideology', then you have zero idea what is deserving of respect in this dark world. So before you go calling an entire, international Faith group a 'self-serving ideology', you should make sure that the people in it aren't doing anything selfless and brave for humanity first.

@Provenia Evermi Jesus is the way, truth and the life. He DID die for our sins. We are NOT saved by works but by faith THROUGH grace, as the bible teaches. Jesus is in high reverence, and as the Son of God, so does he have authority. You are NOT saved by works, but by the grace of God who we give thanks to. If salvation is by law you better be making sacrifices, and living God's word to the dot, and not one sin be unpardoned or you will be facing judgement. All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. This is where Christ comes in. The bridge over our troubled waters to God our father. Us Christians live our lives in reverence and honor to what Christ did for us on the cross, because we couldn't have done it ourselves. Never condemn those who are in Christ. OR you can live in, and by the law if you choose to. But you will be judged by the law and on the judgement you gave others based on the law, which you yourself have committed.

This morning I awoke early and couldn't get back to sleep because I was troubled about some things. I went to God's Word looking for comfort, answers, conviction or whatever it was that God was trying to say to me. With thoughts from the Word mulling around in my head, I began to get ready for church while I put on this song. The words reminded me that this is what truly matters--the "mystery of God, namely Christ in whom are hidden all of the treasures of wisdom and knowledge." Colossians 2:2-3

I listened to this song so much when one of my best friend’s dad died. I was fairly close to him and this song brought me so much peace even though I didn’t really understand the depth of the words and the magnitude of Christ’s sacrifice for us at the time.
Fast forward 8 years and God allowed life’s struggles to bring me down to my knees in complete surrender to Jesus. Satan tried to take my life in the midst of my anguish but Jesus did not allow that. In a depressed rage I crashed my car and it flipped over and everyone thought for sure the driver was dead but I not only didn’t die, I walked out from a flipped over car with a minor bump on my knee and finger. Jesus then healed my mind and pulled me out of the depths of suicidal depression and he reassured me that I only needed to hold on just a bit longer that he is coming soon for us who look to Him and live according to His will.
My Lord Jesus Christ even if you don’t come in my lifetime, I will never again turn my back on you. Thank you for saving me.

This preciuos harmoneous hymn i believe captures the essence of Christianity. As mere humans, our minds are not 'wired' to comprehend His greatest love for the world (us all) & the greatest need fo it, in all of history of mankind to the present & complete assurance of Jesus' return to pass judgement on EVERY soul.
The 4 major events of His life: miraculous birth, crucifiction on a cross, resurrection to life again (ultimate divine power over death) & His destined future return to rule forever in the new world, as the world we know no longer exists. The hope believers carry in their souls is based on all of this TRUTH.

i grew up with so much difficulties in life,i had an infectious disease which i never knew where i got it, it pains me so much,i work abroad now which i struggled so much heartaches,coz i cant find another job because of my illness,but i never give up,i trust him why he gave me such this kind of illness,i never blame him,i just felt like its a blessings he gave me,,i love him and i am asking for his forgiveness,,and i am thanking him for everything,JESUS heals me at the right time

I respect that you aren't a person of Faith. But if you could only believe in a higher power once you can explain Him as 100% provable, then that's not Faith. An infinite Being like God could never be fully explained or proved by tiny human minds. That's like downloading the entire internet into one brain cell. Even a large number of scientific 'mysteries' can't be explained with all the technology that we have at our disposal. And that makes certain aspects of science not 100% provable. Did you know that science has yet to confirm why we dream? They can see that something is happening with our synapses but can't explain why it happens in the first place and why it is needed for our brain to continue cognitive function. And that's something that every person does every single night they've been alive - can't be explained to this day. Did you also know that astrophysicists and mathematicians have found an equation that finally makes up for the in-discrepancies they had with the Big Bang Theory and that this equation now means that the dark matter of the universe is actually of infinite age? Yes, infinite age, meaning that the stuff that holds everything in our universe together was never created and always was. I would highly recommend looking up the article, as it was a phenomenal read. Oh, and last time I checked, bumblebees are still defying the laws of physics by flying around with wings that shouldn't be able to lift their body weight. Science is not infallible and it's also not completely provable either even though it's a very real fact. Sometimes, it takes just as much Faith in believing in some aspects of science as it does to have Faith in a higher power. But it's never about provability. It's usually about not wanting to believe we are accountable to someone greater for the faults we commit so naturally. No invisible, unprovable Somebody can tell me how to live my life, so I just won't believe they are real unless I can find iron-clad proof. Your statement pretty much says, "It doesn't effect me if I can't prove that it does." And that is simply not the case for so many things in our world that it astounds me that people are still using that argument. I can respect when someone doesn't believe in God because every person has the right to take whatever stance on Faith that they want. But I have a hard time maintaining that respect when they say it's because science explains everything that Faith doesn't and there is not proof of God so He's not real. People can put an ounce of Faith into trying to prove that multiverses (which are still in the realm of science fiction) exist but not that our very calculated, very finely woven existence was the work of a Master being. Very interesting.
It's nice to see that your example of how far we've come in science knowledge is lazy and underwhelming and doesn't address any of the points I brought up. I mean, you did just see me say previously that scientists have nearly proved that the Big Bang Theory is wrong and that the universe always was in existence, right? If that's supposed to be true and the only thing proving it is intangible math, then it's gonna take a lot of 'faith' in strangers for you to accept it as science fact.
I did not choose to put my trust in a higher power because I am blind and do not wish to seek the truth. In fact, it was the opposite. I went to seek the truth, studied in biology and chemistry and anatomy and ancient history. And the deeper I studied, the more a case for intelligent design became clear. My belief in God came with diving into the depth of his creation and seeing his signature everywhere. I saw evidences of design vs. random mutation and I reasoned what the only logical conclusion could be. Because it can't be both random combination mutation AND specifically designed adaptable systems at once. And if something had a hand in designing the most intricate parts of our existence, then that something or someone deserved my attention. I don't hinder knowledge. I teach it. Both on the scientific and metaphysical spectrum. In no way have I ever rooted for truth to be hidden or for science to be silenced. I am not afraid of what science will tell me because my Faith is not in opposition to the laws that govern the universe.
If you honestly think that Christians are self-serving, then you have spent far too much time lurking around North America's spoiled, comfortable and lazy Faith community. Travel the world, the dark and scary and war-torn parts, and you'll find Christians far braver than you or I will ever be, out there serving people's needs upon risk of death. Because the Bible actually tells us that we're useless to our Faith unless we get up off our butts, put aside our comforts and luxuries, and live to serve others. When Ebola broke in West Africa a few years ago, Christian organizations were some of the first people rushing in to care for the sick and were often the last groups to leave. Look up the lives of Mother Teresa and Amy Carmichael. If you say you don't have respect for their 'self-serving ideology', then you have zero idea what is deserving of respect in this dark world. So before you go calling an entire, international Faith group a 'self-serving ideology', you should make sure that the people in it aren't doing anything selfless and brave for humanity first.
