I think the solution is pretty simple, make squad league rewards based off of trophies, and have a portal energy bank so when new worlds get added the portal energy gets applied to it.
There's an easy fix, the moment you reach Squad league, your power points you accumulate goes in a bank so once a new world gets introduced, you can use the bank to rank up the new world rank.
100% true! Was in Squad League for less than a week and then probably never getting back. I play everyday for quite a bit and buy a few coins to keep buying chests and still looks out of reach
I hate this but for the opposite reason, I avoided getting to Squad League (like not buying any chests) so that I don't have to face overlevelled p2w players, but at every reset I'm forced to face them and it gets worse every season because more of them have ultras and stay in the worlds below Squad League for longer. It should probably be like Clash Royale that Path of Legends (ranked) is separate from Trophy Road (casual) and unlocks at a set arena
Maybe they should add mastery for troops or trophies, like in all of their other games. When you get enough mastery on enough troops you get into Squad League. Along with this, Squad League could be a separate game-mode, I really don't know why they didn't do this before. With the mastery you could get more rewards for that troop, imagine you need to get your Nita to 3 stars when you have them at 1 star. With this you could get them leveled up without the rng factor from daily shop or chests.
Hey claz they should do something like Arena system like clash royale, where basically u can start earning trophies from like level 30 and each arena/world has there own version of squad league where everyone has same load out depending on world. We can still have squad league at end, as more of a late game pro thing.
It's so weird that seeing max players like SirClaz use multiplier to grind back the league. That supposed to for newbies to faster to 3 star. That is so crazy behaviour.
After the update i notice that there is alot of swings for me. From 7th to 2 or 3th but also the other way around. And i dont like it, in both ways. They need to do something about it. Maybe they need to add a health bar above the squad so people can see howmuch health a squad has or something like that. We need a indicator.
I'm back in Squad League for 4 days now. I saved my Lava World character upgrades (Ultras on them really make little difference), saved my Quests, and got every chest multiplier that was offered. The offers now aren't as good as they were before Squad League reset, unfortunately. I also avoided the temptation of exploiting the bugs 😂
I honesty dont understand why they even kick you back once you make it into swuad league, i also think that if youre less than 2k trophies you shouldn't be halved. They've almost got it, but still needs a rework in those areas
I like the reset. Gives me more loot to get... i only have 2 ultra (Tank and Pam) with Ice wizard and Chicken close. And i got those 2 from the shop offers.
I did an epic thing today. I played a battle and it was pinata mod. I busted half of the lobby and I had a squad of 2 fused shellies, fused tank,fused colt,fused bandit, 2 traders and 2 medics. I went to the middle and controlled the entire lobby I was busting other players troops and I was getting many gems. I also smashed the giant pinata two times and at the end of the match, i was at first place with 584 gems and no 2 had 98 gems, no 3 had 91 gems, no 4 had 91 gems and no 5 had 28 gems. I was so happy. I also got 3 hammers and 78 pinata sticks in one battle. I had AQ in rotation but when I re-rolled, i did not get her. If I got AQ, i could have busted the entire lobby. Another problem was that one person had a fused RK and there were 3 mega knights jumping on me and there were 2 giant skellies but I was still lucky. That was my best battle ever.

i think they should keep doing the same thing but if you get reset out of squad league they should take away the portal energy you used to get to platinum league and use it enough of it to get you back to squad league and like that no portal energy is wasted at all and the reason they should keep pushing back squad league is to add more long term progression to the game
Personally I think things just need to be reworked i swear im facing players with all 3-4 stars while im stuck with only 4 characters barely just got to 3 star idk if its skill based or not but its a struggle
I saved my upgrades and got back into squad league in 3 days. I have been facing Bots since them 6-8 out of 9 of my enemies. Pushed up to 250 US already I'm creeping into global because everyone maxxed out is stuck. It's amazing
I think that if we get enough content creators to talk about this and future issues of the game, I am sure that the dev team will listen and try to solve it. Remember that Paula is the Community Manager, and she is so cool and I have no doubt that she will listen to the community as she did for the last update where a lot of things got removed/changed/improved based on the community feedback
I like squad league a lot and it's a shame that when every new world comes in it pushes all the players back to the new world, forcing them to grind for way too much portal energy to get back there. I enjoy being in squad league much more because the games actually feel more competitive (expecially after the removal of keys and megas) and everyone has the same character rotation to make fights much fairer. Now that I'm lv 130 I'm not having much fun and I wonder how much time it'll take me to get back to squad league...
I made it back into squad league day 1, but I was only able to do that by saving every troop upgrade from the previous season. I doubt I’ll get back in quickly next season. This is absolutely a problem in the game and definitely needs to be reworked somehow. It feels like top players (especially maxed players like yourself with very little ways to collect portal energy) are punished for reaching squad league. Not sure what the solution is, but it absolutely needs to change.
Supercell doesnt even reward us that has been in SL last season What is your opinion if the game work like LOL and Mobile Legends where there is classic mode and ranked mode😮

What they could do would be to make the squad league a competitive mode that when you get to, say, the lava world you unlock it and there are rewards like skins there and the other mode you can finish and wait for the next world.
Just do SOMETHING which separates this Squad Journey with Squad League. If not, then let everyone have same line up in a match (At least, the players in the same match should have a same line up even if the line up changes after every match).
Since players that are not maxed out get to use the Klassik and super upgrades its probably a little bit more easy for people that are not maxed out. I am at 130 currently and i have not really been playing that much between 3-5 games daily. I did buy all the multipliers that were available for coins but not more. So in my opinion its just much more harder to reach squad league as a maxed out player. The overall general problem with squad league moving further and further back is a big problem anyways
Yeah they need to fix squad league progression. Also, I may be late but, I think you can tell which squad mates are available in the next match by which squad mates are strolling in the plaza.
Nice video. Like you said, I’m just trying to maximize portal energy. I’m F2P, almost at level 132 now. It will take a couple weeks to get back to squad league. Just grinding games, trying to get top 3 every game, and I buy chest multipliers with coins when available. I also upload a little gameplay video (or several) each day.
I feel like the world before squad league should be a limited world that’s around for two months rather than the squad journey getting super long. Right now it’s a good length journey but I feel like the new characters should be put in existing worlds and 120 to 150 should be a seosonal world. There can be cool worlds without it being impossible to level up.
They should make squad league level 100+ get reset to level 1 in the league not outside of it.. and players under level 100 squad league will be the ones to get demoted to the new world after the season reset .. this would fix the problem and make it that people would want to push to level 100+ in the league every season

I actually prefer not having the exact same rotation as other players. Part of the fun for me is being creative in finding your own way of getting coins and gems with the cards you have been dealt. If everyone has greg he is pretty much useless, same for maisie, and when they're not in rotation you can't even get resources using bombs because they just remove trees/carrots from the map and act like they never even existed. Sure, it adds an element of chance, but right now playing squad league feels like playing a game of poker where everyone has the same hand, sometimes you just need an element of chance for things to be more fun
i made it back to the squad league by saving my upgrades but there is nobody in it so i always play versus bots and getting only top 1, its a bit rigged

Hear me out. They should make it so If you enter squad league you gain the 'Squad Badge'. This Badge will be on your profile as a decoration and a flex but the people who have the Squad Badge will have the portal energy required to get back into squad league halfed.

As a person who hasn’t paid and got all ultra troops squad league is so bad. I can’t really compete and enjoy the resets. I think everyone having a random troop line up is better than we all are running the same. Does having the most trophies even mean anything squad league is a pain to push thru as a F2P player

The last update gave bunch of coins and it makes grinding back to squad league less painful for f2p players. Imagine not having that much coins to buy chest tickets.

Yep I got squad league one week before it reset and now I’m grinding my way back up buying chest token after chest token it seems stupid because of it I have no gold I cannot progress which just seems dumb unless I pay ofc no other supercell game does this you can still progress in all the other games even if you don’t have gold / gems etc
I think a good idea would be to have the new world be unlocked at level 150. Then you start gaining trophies where u lose alot more for losing (like -1 at 6th, -5 at 10 idk how much it is now but it seemed alot less then that) each 500-1000 trophies gets you into a new "league" and squad league will be the highest one at 4000. At the end of the season instead of having you reset to the bottom of the league your in so you can never get demoted from squad league if you reach it
Im free to play and already over 20 into the squad leagues and still have 20 days the last 2 worlds have been fast but i started about 2 months ago and already pretty far especially after the new event weeks for transformers

I did grind F2P a lot to get to Squad League, got it 2 days before the reset and got kicked back😢

Im free to play and already over 20 into the squad leagues and still have 20 days the last 2 worlds have been fast but i started about 2 months ago and already pretty far especially after the new event weeks for transformers

I don't think i did say i was 1st. I think i might have said that at a point where i was first but at the end i didn't say anything about being 1st
