- Timelapse of my digital illustration of Batman Meets Godzilla (supply your own Bat-music)... an homage to two dynamic duos, artists Carmen Infantino & Murphy Anderson and Adam West & Burt Ward, along with the wacky, unfilmed movie treatment featuring the famous kaiju Gojira.
- Rendered in Procreate on iPad Pro
- Paper textures and printing effects generated using ColorLab from Retro Supply Co.

I dressed it up like a mid-60s, "coming soon" DC house ad with the look of newsprint and old comic coloring techniques.
I contributed this image to the Batman Meets Godzilla fan comic (batmanmeetsgodz...), based on the aforementioned movie treatment.

Thank you for this!
I'm trying to do a 70s style comic cover for GhostBusters, so this was a great help seeing your color process!
Very cool to see this process breakdown. Thank you!
Love this so much, thanks for sharing!
I really enjoyed this process vid. Thank you
Thanks! I had no idea anyone was watching it, so that's great to hear!
Wow this is fantastic. I use clip studio but your techniques are really good. I’ve never considered using compositing for referencing and it feels like it would make my workflow so much easier if I allow myself to embrace these ideas rather than just brute forcing a drawing / page.
Thank you! I experience the same hang-ups, as I want to feel the accomplishment of making everything “myself,” but I have to remind myself it’s the final product that matters, and we’re always leaning on some kind of tool, even if it’s just pencil on paper. What’s more, I rarely have the benefit of live models when it comes to pose and likeness!
@@mattdunndraws Yeah you’re totally right. We gotta start embracing the technology given to us to help haha.
Excellent, thanks for sharing
Amazing work
