I always love seeing these and all the GORGEOUS art that goes into these!! Partially because it introduces me to adding more unique features to dragons and character design, but also because it pushes me to work harder and get better. I’m always hoping to win whenever I see contests, with so many entries! So whenever they end and other, we’ll deserving people win, I always try and get better. Bless you all, and have a wonderful year!
Anybody else notice that how for this contest, exactly like the koi contest, didn’t have any traditional art mentioned? Traditional art took up a good chunk of the entries. It makes me sad Cyprus isn’t really giving the traditional artists a chance to shine
I noticed it as well, but she said half body's and busts we're ok in this contest, I saw nothing mentioned about them at all. Maybe she should have just said only full body's and digital only?

I entered, but to be honest my looks really bad. But I would be really surprised if I win! Also good luck to everyone who participated all or your designs are amazing! Edit: I wish I could of re-entered because I was not confident with drawing full body’s but now I have been practicing and I’ve gotten better! Oh well, I’ll have to wait for the next one. :)

Bro this premiere will end me. I joined, and honestly, I’m kinda proud of mine. I looked at all the others and they were all pretty EPIK. I don’t remember them all, but they got the theme perfectly, much unlike mine. Mine is just, “it’s white, good backstory, there”s blue, and she’s pretty. Job’s done.”

I don’t get how people get the positioning so good. I use pictures of my dog to help get the proportions and anatomy right. If you compare certain dog breeds and some dragons, there can be a slight resemblance especially when it comes to leg and shoulder placement

Just a suggestion; if you do this again, maybe make a hashtag for the contest on RUclips. Some people(like myself) don’t have a devientart account, and only post art on RUclips. I work on a phone, so doing a hashtag on also allows more people to do it. I actually made a design for this, cuz it looked like fun. But everyone did so well! The art is in general beautiful, and I think a lot of people did great!
