It's because of the update on the DMC a few months ago. The update has ruined how all modes work and still are. All mods before the update should be fixed by the modder to match the current version Acrobatic mode is not fixed I think. If you want to keep the old mode, you need to get the DMC file before the update and downgrade the game.
