Excellent video "series"... I would suggest, however, that the system the world has really adopted is not capitalism as we used to have, but rather a "socialized" version of it where governments are themselves corporations, and where they interact with private corporations in Private Public Partnerships where the gains are privatized, but the losses are made public. This is far more problematic than capitalism, as the addition of government to the equation never increases productivity or real wealth for anyone, except an extremely small percentage of the wealthy that value power even more than riches. Thoughts?

Cleptocratic tendencies are nothing new - I am not sure if this actually got worse over the decades.
The tax income relative to GDP is somewhat constant across most countries over the decades
